Arguably the best vocalist in the grunge era. Such an amazing voice.

It’s sad, that a singer of his caliber would do a Nirvana cover at a club gig. Saw Weiland at the Shoreline Amphitheater with STP and he dancing like a lizard and I realized that he’s Gen X’s Jim Morrison.

I get Nirvana’s appeal, but their ethos was basically nihilistic/cynicism. It might seem crass to mention Kurt’s suicide as related to this ethos, but how could u not notice the connection? Weiland covering Nirvana soon before his own death is sad.
