ROSALÍA reveals the risks she took when creating “LUX” and admits there was concern about the album’s commercial potential: “Making an orchestral album might not guarantee instant success when you release it. There was no guarantee of a return on the investment for the whole team, but this was what I wanted to explore. For me, it’s very important to listen to whatever gives me that feeling of ‘Yes, this is the path’. It’s always something very instinctive, intuitive, something that comes from the gut. I think there was this general feeling of panic because it was taking a long time and it might not have been obvious that there would be a hit. But in retrospect, you see that with ‘Berghain’… maybe nobody really believed in the song, but it ended up working. People reacted to the song, and that’s amazing. Trump: I think it’s very sad, actually. I’m surprised that it wasn’t—you know—the public wasn’t notified a long time ago, because to get to stage 9, that’s a long time. I just had my physical. You saw that. You saw the results of that particular test. I think that test is standard to pretty much anybody getting a physical—a good physical. We had the doctors at the White House and over at Walter Reed, which is a fantastic hospital, do it. I did a very complete physical, including a cognitive test. I’m proud to announce I aced it. I got them all right. You proud of me? Your husband would be proud of me for getting them all right. It’s a little risk. If I didn’t get them all right, these people would be after me. It would be not a good situation. But I think, frankly, anybody running for president should take a cognitive test. They say it’s unconstitutional, but I would say in that particular case, having a cognitive test wouldn’t be so bad. But when you take tests—medical, as a male—that test is very standard. I don’t know if it’s given to everybody, but it’s given just about. And it takes a long time to get to that situation… to get to a stage 9. I think that if you take a look, it’s the same doctor that said that Joe was cognitively fine, there was nothing wrong with him. If it’s the same doctor, he said there was nothing wrong there. That’s been proven to be a sad situation. And the autopen is becoming a very big deal. You know, the autopen is becoming a big deal because it seems that maybe it was the president—whoever operated the autopen. But when they say that was not good, they also—you have to look and you have to say that the test was not so good either. In other words, there are things going on that the public wasn’t informed [about], and I think somebody is going to have to speak to his doctor—if it’s the same or even if it’s two separate doctors. Why wasn’t the cognitive ability—why wasn’t that discussed? And I think the doctor said he’s just fine, and it’s turned out that’s not so. It’s very dangerous… this is dangerous for our country. Look at the mess we are in. You talk about all these questions on Ukraine and Russia. That would’ve never happened, as an example, if I were president. It would’ve never happened. The other thing—you have to say: Why did it take so long? I mean, this takes a long time. It can take years to get to this level of danger. It’s a very, very sad situation. I feel very badly about it. And I think people should try and find out what happened. Because I’ll tell you, I don’t know if it had anything to do with the hospital. Walter Reed is really good. my two favorite people saying the same thing “just give it a try” 🥹 🦌: the most important thing is to just give it a try. i think the idea of taking that first step is one of the most important things in life 🦮: moments when we have to make big decisions can be scary, and i think that's completely normal. but the fact that something feels scary also means it’s a very important opportunity. that’s why i think it’s important to really think about what you want and then just give it a try. because if you don’t try, you’ll definitely regret it later on

I think that Jordan became less and less comfortable with LeBron’s place in the basketball ecosystem as LeBron started getting closer and closer and closer to becoming the people’s choice for greatest player ever. I always felt one of the reasons Jordan embraced Kobe was not only did Kobe model his entire game and at times his persona after Jordan, it was very clear relatively early that Kobe was never going to, like Kobe’s ceiling in the eyes of the majority was going to be second to Jordan. And so Jordan felt comfortable putting his arms around him. There was no threatening of his stature. And it’s not lost on anyone that people had been trying to make the last dance forever. That footage had been around forever and Jordan did not okay it until two days after the 3-1 comeback against the Warriors. The story is that it was the day of the Cavs parade that Jordan finally green lit that. Here’s Rivers’ full confession from tonight’s LUX TOUR Confessional with ROSALÍA: “When I was in high school, there was a boy I really liked. We talked, but we were ‘just friends,’ and as time went by, we got to know each other more. He would ask me out, and it started becoming something more. Then, one day, he told me he liked me and felt the same way. I was so excited, so hopeful. His birthday was coming up, and there was going to be Pal Norte, a festival here. I spent months saving money to take him to the festival. I even did raffles and everything, because I was 13 or 14 years old. When his birthday finally came, I had prepared a surprise for him, organized everything, and planned a special moment. When I gave him the gift, he saw what it was and got kind of weird. We were about to leave when, guess who I ran into at the festival? Him. With someone else, all cuddled up, and I think they were holding hands. And the worst part? Do you know who it was? A classmate. After that, I didn’t want anything to do with ‘Nati’ and I hated everyone for a long time. I spent several years not trusting anyone and not wanting to meet people in that way. We talked, but we were ‘just friends,’ and as time went by, we got to know each other more. He would ask me out, and it started becoming something more. Then, one day, he told me he liked me and felt the same way. I was so excited, so hopeful. His birthday was coming up, and there was going to be Pal Norte, a festival here. I spent months saving money to take him to the festival. I even did raffles and everything, because I was 13 or 14 years old. When his birthday finally came, I had prepared a surprise for him, organized everything, and planned a special moment. When I gave him the gift, he saw what it was and got kind of weird.
