Reporting Scotland is covering sexual offences on trains this morning and concealing the fact that it is a UK wide report which shows Scotland at 98 cases has the lowest recorded rate in the UK. Proportionally half that of England [2156 cases] and a fifth of Wales [407 cases].

Deaths linked to A&E waits was the top story on Reporting Scotland yesterday. The RCEM estimated there were 818. There was no comparison with England. Why? Because the situation is proportionally far worse. In England there were 16,600 A&E related deaths last year. Why does the BBC compare Scottish drug deaths with England but not A&E related deaths? It's because the broadcaster only makes comparisons when it knows Scotland looks worse.

The UK ITV News covered the story of the Scottish Labour councillor convicted of child sex offences. STV News covered it as well. Why did Reporting Scotland employ a blackout of this story? There is no justification for not reporting this. It looks like political editorialising.

This clip is a perfect example of how Russian propaganda works: 1) It takes a real article from the Financial Times. 2) Uses some parts of it as-is. 3) Rephrases other parts to make it sound as though Putin has a leg to stand on. 4) Completely omits one of the article’s main points: that Putin has no real understanding of what is actually happening at the front. Crazy because I heard the rumors of a suspect taking their own life and didn’t report it until the media included it in their article, then instead of retracting it, they just wiped the article. No mention of that though.
