Deaths linked to A&E waits was the top story on Reporting Scotland yesterday. The RCEM estimated there were 818. There was no comparison with England. Why? Because the situation is proportionally far worse. In England there were 16,600 A&E related deaths last year. Why does the BBC compare Scottish drug deaths with England but not A&E related deaths? It's because the broadcaster only makes comparisons when it knows Scotland looks worse.

This clip is a perfect example of how Russian propaganda works: 1) It takes a real article from the Financial Times. 2) Uses some parts of it as-is. 3) Rephrases other parts to make it sound as though Putin has a leg to stand on. 4) Completely omits one of the article’s main points: that Putin has no real understanding of what is actually happening at the front. JUST IN: Radio station threatens legal action against the Harris campaign after her campaign used their article to make it look like they had backed her candidacy. The radio station is blasting Harris after she used their website to trick online users. "They lied to every single person who saw that ad," said Steve Hallstrom, president of Fieldstone Consulting Group. "We have reached out to the Harris campaign and demanded they terminate this ad immediately and we are considering all options here including legal action," he said. "This is not right and they should not be allowed to get away with this and tarnish our reputation — whether it’s a family-owned North Dakota company like us or a major national news organization." The development comes after Axios revealed the Harris campaign was using Google ads to trick online users into thinking reputable news sites were giving her favorable reporting. This was the BBC News at Six last night. The English NHS is under huge pressure, partly because of a flu outbreak. Conditions in the hospital featured are atrocious. The thing you'll notice is there's no politics. No UK Govt minister is confronted. The Scottish NHS has thus far escaped the flu outbreak. That may change. However, even now we are being conditioned by BBC Scotland to believe that things are as bad or worse in Scotland. For two nights running on Reporting Scotland a Scottish Govt minister has been challenged in an item about the NHS. A narrative is being cultivated that the Scottish NHS is about to collapse. That Scottish hospitals and wards are unsafe compared to those south of the border. That things are uniquely bad in the Scottish NHS. This is completely untrue. There will be challenges. Ambulances will be diverted from area to area depending on those challenges. Patients will be advised not to attend A&E in their area unless absolutely necessary. The reason will be winter. It gets colder at this time of year. Colder still the further north you get. People slip or catch a virus. The vulnerable succumb. Pressures increase. Politics should be left out of it. The story of Sally Mugabe Hospital, Zimbabwe’s biggest public hospital, is tragic. Every year, 2,500 Zimbabwean women die while giving birth. The hospital has only one working maternity theatre. Ian Smith built two in 1977, and at one point, both had stopped working until South African bank Stanbic intervened and refurbished one of them. Building a maternity theatre costs only US$37,000, yet the Mnangagwa regime has thousands of Land Cruisers being given to the political elites using taxpayers dollars. Ministers get between three and five cars each. One Land Cruiser, after paying customs duty, could fund the construction of eleven maternity theatres. Sally Mugabe Hospital is the same hospital where Zimbabwean musician Tatenda Pinjisi died without painkillers two days ago. Nurses had to use cellphone torches as there was no electricity. Sikh Asked to Leave Gym Over His Kirpan Gurpartap Singh Sangha was told to remove his kirpan while working out at a GoodLife Fitness location in Windsor, Ontario. In this video, Balpreet Singh talked with CTV News to explain why the kirpan is a protected article of faith along with how GoodLife Fitness responded after the incident.
