Duffy said middle and low income New Yorkers are “forced” into using the trains. He said “some would say” the system is a shithole and slammed it as not being clean or safe enough. Adams praised Duffy for coming up from DC to look at the system.

This is clownish from Duffy. I am a middle class New Yorker, in an outer borough, who semi-regularly drives into the congestion zone. It's great. It's the first NYC policy in recent memory that works well and works immediately. Pays for itself several times over in time saved.

Not since the Boston tea party have we seen such a tyrannical tax in nature. The establishment of a fiefdom south of 60th street that excludes based on socio economic class and mode of transport is highly problematic.
