Season 16 drafting in a nutshell

istg the worst part is not knowing who’s what. Like sure I can get out drafted but can I change runes to correspond with my laner so I have no bone plating against panth one shotting with emp W

To be clear I'm not against diversity in drafting and I would say it adds more value to the game than not. But there needs to be SOME level of structure, and currently it feels as though literally anything can be played anywhere and games have become a clusterfuck.

@NguardVa "Draft diversity" isn't a binary state, it's a flexible value from 0 diversity to "anything can be played anywhere." The very fundamental gameplay loop that made the game popular for 16 years has been set roles and champions that fill those roles. Right now it's *too* diverse.

Now imagine if Riot let the client reorganize everyone into Top-Jung-Mid-Bot-Supp after everyone's done picking their champs. At 0:20 it's locked so you cant swap champs or roles anymore.

with the current game state I 100% feel as though we should just know what role everyone is playing in after everyone has locked in a champion in draft.

I think this would be more accepted IF we didn't have the role quests. If we could just swap lanes without being so tied down; these matchups there'd be more breathing room to change around. We are losing stuff like alistar, janna, thresh, for pantheon, and Camille in pro play.

i get the draft frustration, and yall can shoot me if you want, but this is how MOBAS should be played.. You just lock in whoever the fuck you want to play, and play to win. League is the only MOBA that has "this champion can ONLY be played in the jungle"

I actually enjoy having people play champs outside of their normal roles. But I hate not knowing beforehand where they are going to go.

Mind you, everytime any adc is good in other roles they get nerfed to oblivion

And then their supp perma roams level 2 and you either get turret dove or you have a support in your lane sucking up your xp waiting for the counter gank

Toplaners will die on the hill that ADCs are SO OP AND BUSTED and it is the ADC's mains fault for LoL's downfall or something! True,ADCs are so fucking great you don't even play them in their positions anymore! May toplaners experience only Quinn,Vayne and Teemos with AFK jung

Well, riot has nerfed all ADC items to utter oblivion and made bruisers and tanks broken as hell.

This better but they should cut adr top cause that sht is unplayable for 80% of the rooster. Compared to bot since its 6 spells hitting one champ that can easily kill any champ early.
