I said this before but I’ll say it again. I honestly love this episode since Frank Grimes was a self insert for the every man who has to work hard only to barely make an impact and how he’ll go insane in Springfield where people like Homer are lazy yet they somehow make an income

Homer's an ordinary guy who has extraordinary things happen to him.

The episode might be one of the best Simpsons episodes of all time.

This was the scene where they changed the line right? You can tell by Homer's voice changing when he says 'You've never been?'

As dumb, lazy and slacking as Homer is; dude has a weird collection of skills that makes him basically the Nicholas Cage of luck; either he lucks into something amazing or gets absolutely shit on with very little in between.

I stopped watching The Simpsons around this time. What has Homer done in the past 27 years that would get on the wall?
