Same for Portland. I used to love it but don't want to visit or try to relocate there. It's become so hateful, the vibe is now off.

Attended UW in the ‘80’s, used to love going downtown to Pike Place Market. Ever since WA legalized marijuana it’s gone steeply downhill, and is not safe anymore. We stop going downtown and eventually left the state.

I lived in Seattle for 20 years, moved away in 2004. It has changed so much since then. I love the Seahawks and the mountains- and that’s about it. The rest of Seattle is dead to me now.

Seattle center and the fun forest as a kid was great. Once they killed the Tuba guy it’s all gone downhill. It’s a liberal s-hole now. Moved and don’t miss it at all.

Not just that, the nearly 2 years I lived there I'd get off of the Westlake train downtown and walk 20 minutes home towards Queen Anne. It seemed by the month, civilians were matched or outnumbered by homeless/ fentanyl zombies.
