Members of the Windrush generation like my mother came to rebuild Britain after the Second World War. We must never forget their enormous contribution or the injustices they faced. We will continue to push for full justice for the Windrush generation #Windrush75 #WindrushDay

#Odisha is proud host of #HockeyWorldCup for the second time in a row. As #HockeyComesHome, the biggest stadium of India named after noted freedom fighter Birsa Munda will be the finest venue for the event. It will be the biggest tribute to #Sundargarh’s contribution to hockey.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council continues to work with countries neighboring Iran. New draft security agreements have already been prepared. I have scheduled a meeting for Monday to discuss the second wave of these arrangements. Ukraine is making its contribution to security, and in return our partners will contribute to strengthening Ukraine.

Something rotten with the Irish State It's worth watching again the full contribution from John McGuinness TD on the #Grace case from 2021 Today's report, cynically published while the Dáil is on holiday until April 29th , is failing grace yet again. Why was there no second phase of the inquiry into the other 47 cases in the foster home? #FarrellyCommission #HowIrelandWorks

STING takes down modified Shaheds 💥 The first drone was a relay unit, part of a mesh network. This is yet another example of the enemy’s constant UAV modernization and their search for new ways to bypass countermeasures. The second drone was a Shahed with a large antenna. Thanks to one of the best crews, it never reached its target. Make your contribution to taking down Shaheds

Florida got a big spark and much needed contribution from second year guard Urban Klavzar Klavzar produced 15 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists off the bench and also pitched in 4 3's on 4/7 shooting from deep Hit a huge 3 vs FSU to win that game, playing with a lot of confidence as of late, after playing with zero confidence to begin the year. Needs to be more consistent but can be a nice piece for the Gators this year.

Kenyan President praises the Somali community for their investment and contribution to Kenya's economy. Great idea—we need a Somali Town everywhere. Entrepreneurship builds nations. Ruto became the first president to truly recognise and highlight how valuable the Somali community is across Kenya. Ruto is likely to secure a second term because of the way he has reached out to and embraced citizens from all communities across Kenya, promoting unity, and economic growth. William Samoei Ruto, PhD Again — Make Kenya Great Again. 🇰🇪

“Because of your kindness, love, and support, we have been able to raise N15 million so far for Salawdeen Fathia's life-saving brain tumor surgery. We are deeply grateful but we are not there yet she still urgently needs A5,000,000 more to undergo the full treatment and surgeries recommended by the doctors. Time is still very critical Fathia is a new mother, still fighting to stay alive and regain her sight after being diagnosed just weeks after childbirth. Every second counts, and every contribution brings her closer to survival.”

To live in a free country is not a given. Many people in 2025 still do not know what freedom is. In the Netherlands, we celebrate our freedom every year. We remember the war that tore apart our country, we remember those who fought for the freedom we still cherish today, we mourn the dead, and we remind newer generations never to take freedom for granted. This year marks 80 years since the end of the Second World War. I am honored to make a musical contribution to this special event. #Liberation #Day
