Frontrunning is so bad in this game that I'm literally braking so I don't over take. I won the race doing this btw. So I'm thinking it's genuinely the strat to just not be first under any circumstance beyond the final stretch.

Imma stop tweeting about this now but again, just getting mushrooms and hanging back till the final stretch seems to work most times. Most tracks have a mushroom cut just before the end anyway. Guy in first yet again got blued btw. Just absolutely no benefit to being in first.

Tbh the blue shell increasingly feels like a mistake. It was always more of a "screw 1st" item than a "help last" one, but the more racers are on the field, the less likely it is to actually matter for you. Does it ever help the guy who gets it more than the the guy in second?

To be in first you've got to be prepared. Have at least a mushroom.

Blue shell sucks ass. The lighting does what the blue shell is supposed to do, so slowing the race down by slowing everyone down the more you are in a good position. While blue shell just punishes the first for winning
