Not only did the neighbor provoke Gordo, but Gordo is but a puppy. As a sister of 2 brothers, we used to snap towels at one another, playfully. I know, sometimes, a snapping towel can really smart. Suppose the towel hit Gordo's eye? That would truly hurt & his response-natural.

BRADLEY DESERVED BETTER. 😡😭 After spending $1,500 on training, his family still gave up on him. The wife wanted him gone, she said they “couldn’t deal with him anymore.”They called him “too unpredictable.” But Bradley is only one year old! he’s a baby🥺 What the volunteers saw was a quiet, calm, gentle soul, not chaotic, not aggressive. Just a sweet boy who stayed close to people, softly asking for love. His kennel was filthy. The volunteer and another helper cleaned it. They bathed him, cleaned his paws and tail and he visibly relaxed, like he finally felt cared for 😭 Bradley has lived with kids and other dogs. He’s not broken, he’s just another #GermanShepherd who was failed by humans who quit too soon. 💔 He deserves patience and understanding, he deserves a real family. Beckett was surrendered by his family after 16 years because they said he was old and it was his time to go and they didn't want to deal with it. Beckett showed us he wasn't quite ready yet and he luckily only had to stay a few days at the shelter before he found a family that will give him the peace, love, and comfort he deserves. Poor Beckett, he didn't deserve that. People suck. How the heck do you give your 16 year old dog to a shelter? 🤯What is wrong with people?!!! I'm assuming he lived with them his whole life! How confused & scared he must have been. This is why I like animals so much more than people! God Bless his new family. Thank you!!!

His owner, a homeless veteran, surrendered him because he no longer had a home and the housing he applied for would take months to get. Through tears, he told a volunteer he no longer had a home and the housing he applied for would take months to get. He told a volunteer how much he loved him, how Endo loved kids, how he hoped that the shelter would find him a good home. Endo, like a lot of dogs, had a rough first day at the shelter. Who wouldn't be scared in such a loud and chaotic place? Staff used an ACD pole on him, which only made him more terrified, and this poor boy, on his very first day at the shelter, was added to the "urgent" list, solidifying his eventual place on the euthanasia list Endo has been in playgroup a few times. He's been described as both tolerant and selective. He’s not done anything except look uncomfortable with collaring and was assertive with males in his most recent session. Volunteers who have spent time with him find him to be a sweet and sensitive boy who is open to affection and seems to find comfort in it once he trusts you. A staff member took him for a walk shortly after he arrived, hoping to help him acclimate, and she was able to handle him without issue, even got him vaccinated without any concerns Now Endo is ALERTED & DEADLINED for “behavioral concerns in the shelter” with a recent note stating he barked and growled at a supervisor in his recent note. This is a video of Odin during his walk... This breaks my heart... he is 8 years old and was left in a shelter. He doesn't understand what is going on...he kept looking around and looking for a family who will never come back. He's good with dogs, loves kids, and is house trained ... he just needs a cat-free home. Please share so Odin can find the family he deserves. I’ll never understand how a family can have a dog for so long and surrender them to a shelter. 💔
