Securing our future starts with securing the resources that power it. Silver is now considered a safe-haven, critical industrial metal, essential to the technologies and infrastructure that drive modern economies. Across the G7, countries are shifting away from “not in my backyard” policies and recognizing the need for mineral... show more

The United States has begun receiving shipments of tungsten, a critical rare-earth mineral, straight from Rwanda for the first time. This is a major milestone for the Trump White House in their push to dismantle China's power over America's mineral supply chain. “It is an honor to see our material from Rwanda here at one of the largest tungsten processors in the world being converted into products that will help make America safer, stronger, more prosperous... In turn, the nearly 7,000 employees of Trinity Metals and the government of Rwanda will benefit from such market access and the deepening of strategic ties between the two countries,” - Trinity Metals Chairman Shawn McCormick. China dominates the critical mineral industry, especially tungsten production, where it produces 80% of the global supply. Rwanda is also a big producer, and the partnership with the United States will help defeat China's mineral monopoly.

There are many ways to invest in silver. Not all of them generate cash flow. While some investors buy the metal itself, others look for companies already producing silver—and positioned to grow as demand increases. Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd. combines current production with a pipeline of development projects, giving investors exposure to silver while building toward future growth. Why investors are watching: - Producing silver, gold, and copper from Mexico - Advancing the high-grade La Preciosa Project - Inaugural Proven and Probable Mineral Reserves at La Preciosa and Avino - More than 300 million silver-equivalent ounces across its asset base* - Strong balance sheet supporting organic growth - Listed on both the TSX and NYSE American As silver demand continues to grow across electronics, renewable energy, and industrial manufacturing, companies with existing production and expansion potential are drawing increased attention. 1,000,000 TAO now staked with Yuma. Because our validators run on owned hardware infrastructure, that's 1 million more TAO securing Bittensor's network consensus, through validator operations trusted by participants ranging from non-custodial wallet owners to global exchanges and leading institutional custodians. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has chosen Yuma Staking, helping to make us the largest hardware validator on the network. The strongest signal in any network is participation. This milestone reflects growing conviction in Bittensor and the infrastructure that supports it. Bittensor keeps growing. Let's keep building together. bittensor:native

I have arrived in Saudi Arabia, where I will meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. Yesterday, at a meeting with European leaders, we secured financial guarantees for our resilience. Today, we are advancing our agreements with Saudi Arabia in the areas of security, energy, and infrastructure. It is important that the strengthening is mutual. I appreciate the substantive cooperation between our countries.

NEWS: Waymo has just officially announced that they have raised $16 billion at a $126 billion post-money valuation. "Across 127 million miles of fully autonomous operation—the equivalent of going to the moon and back over 260 times—we have achieved a 90% reduction in serious injury crashes. This is the direct result of a driver that is never affected by the leading causes of road tragedy, including distraction, impairment, and fatigue. This infusion of capital will ensure we are positioned to move forward with unprecedented velocity, while maintaining our industry-leading safety standards. Our focus is now on global scale, bringing the safety and magic of the Waymo Driver to even more cities this year across the United States and internationally. Today, at Redeemer’s University Redeemer's University, Ede, Osun State, I was glad to commission the new Institute of Genomics and Global Health, marking a significant evolution from ACEGID’s @acegid status as a center of excellence. This moment is not only a proud achievement for all those involved, but it also stands as a powerful symbol of what African scientific leadership can achieve on the global stage. Under the visionary leadership of Prof Christian Happi Christian T. Happi, the team at ACEGID has made extraordinary strides in genomic research, particularly in addressing some of the most pressing infectious disease challenges of our time. The inauguration of the Institute reminds us that the work being done by the ACEGID team is a global public good, benefiting not only Nigeria and Africa but also contributing to global health security. The partnerships fostered between institutions and scientists from the Global North and South are a testament to our shared commitment to protecting and advancing human health. This collaboration has demonstrated what is possible when we work together to confront challenges that affect us all. Under the visionary leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Bola Ahmed Tinubu health security remains a central pillar of our broader strategy to transform Nigeria’s health system, unlock the value chain, and improve population health outcomes. This is why supporting cutting-edge scientific research, like the work at this Institute, is essential. We need to create a health system environment with strong public health capabilities to withstand the potential and evolving threats posed by infectious diseases and the ongoing impacts of climate change. The pace at which new health threats are emerging is accelerating, and with it, the need for robust scientific responses. The innovations in genomics we are witnessing at ACEGID provide a glimmer of hope, offering us the tools we need to be better prepared for what may come. The Federal Government of Nigeria Government of Nigeria is fully committed to supporting these efforts, knowing that science must lead the way in securing a healthier future for all.

Over the weekend, I joined George Moghalu, the Labour Party’s governorship candidate, at a town hall meeting and campaign in Nimo, Anambra Central Senatorial Zone. Together with the Obidient family, I fully support Dr. George Moghalu because his campaign manifesto places human development at the heart of governance. He is committed to strengthening security, advancing education, improving healthcare, and lifting our people out of poverty—at a time when the safety of lives and property, as well as the future of our children’s education, remain critical concerns. Above all, beyond competence, George Moghalu has consistently demonstrated capacity, compassion, and character—the essential values of true leadership. We are confident that under his guidance, Anambra will not only make progress but also achieve meaningful improvements in the human development index, securing a brighter and more dignified future for our people. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

77 years… and China is still moving forward. On October 1, China is not simply celebrating the anniversary of the founding of the country, but highlighting a journey that has completely transformed it. From a country that emerged from decades of war and poverty to an industrial and technological power competing in the industries of the future and building cities and infrastructure on a massive scale. What stands out is that China does not see its achievements as a finish line, but as one stage in an ongoing project of modernization and development.

This is an 80,000-tonne hydraulic forging press from China’s Northern Heavy Industries, one of the largest metal-forming machines ever built. But it is not simply a machine that bends metal like traditional presses do. At this scale, forging is about changing the internal structure of the material itself, compressing the metal, refining its molecular grain flow and eliminating hidden defects that could cause failure decades later. Machines like this are used to create some of the most critical components on Earth, aircraft landing gear, titanium aerospace structures, nuclear reactor components, massive gas turbine rotors and ship propulsion shafts. The metals being forged are among the most advanced engineering materials available, ultra-high-strength steels, titanium alloys and nickel-based superalloys designed to survive extreme temperatures, pressure and millions of fatigue cycles. An 80,000-tonne press is an industrial ecosystem by itself. The press, hydraulic systems, furnaces, manipulators and supporting infrastructure can require hundreds of millions of dollars in investment, with hydraulic systems requiring tens of megawatts of power to control forces equivalent to thousands of tonnes. The biggest industrial machines often do not make the final products. They make the materials that make those products possible.

Announcing our manifesto, Lex et Libertas. The history of commerce is a history of The People writing their own rules. When a merchant in thirteenth-century Venice wanted to trade across the Mediterranean, he signed a commenda — a private contract that split the risk between an investor and the merchant who sailed, and held up wherever the ship made port. It was not issued by a king. No parliament approved it. Merchants wrote it because it was machinery for their economic freedom. This was the precursor to the modern corporation. This set of norms, jus gentium, grew out of how foreign traders actually dealt with one another, not out of a sovereign's decree. The merchant law was customary, portable, and enforced in the merchants' own courts. It still works that way, when we let it. In 2013 a startup accelerator, not a legislature, wrote the SAFE, and it now governs a huge share of how companies get funded. That is the spirit of merchant law. Yet despite all of this fantastic success, we’ve lost that spirit. The civilization that invented the corporation is now strangling it. The US Code of Federal Regulations ran 9,745 pages in 1950 and runs more than 190,000 today. The average large multinational holds 549 subsidiaries across 56 countries. The rules merchants once wrote for themselves now arrive from thousands of jurisdictions at once. It is impossible for it to be owned by anyone, and the price is paid after midnight by people no one is paying attention to. Lex et Libertas is our argument for the future we are building. It is the manifesto for my life’s work. The merchants built their own freedom technology. In dedication to these giants, we are building the only managed entity platform, enabling businesses to seamlessly operate across 100+ countries. 500+ firms including TRX, Remote, Exa AI, Seismic, and Composio have already joined us. As we enter into the agentic era, software will form the backbone of global industry. A new legal order will emerge to facilitate the future of commerce across our planet, and beyond. And Commenda is where it will be built. Jus agentium.
