We really need our security agencies kitted properly to respond to some of threats to our nation security posed by our volatile neighbours such as Sudan.

All the officials and the security services called and said that China was a significant threat. That was sufficient to give to the CPS, not even by ministers but by officials. The question is: why wasn’t it? But the question I really wanted to ask today concerns this absurdity about the role, or lack of role, of the National Security Adviser. The government says he wasn’t involved in any matters of substance — but isn’t it the role of the National Security Adviser to be involved in all matters of substance when it comes to national security? So, what’s the point of a National Security Adviser who does not involve themselves in matters of national security, as in this case? Instead, we are meant to believe that the Deputy National Security Adviser is allowed, in this case, to involve themselves in substantial matters of national security, but not apparently discuss these substantial matters of national security with the National Security Adviser. This does seem to be an absolute matter of substantial absurdity.

This isn’t about fat shaming anyone, but an issue that needs to be addressed. Police and MNDF are responsible for protecting our nation from both internal and external threats. So they should be among the fittest individuals in the country. If these frontline services are struggling with health and fitness, it’s a reflection of a wider national problem. An unhealthy population places a significant financial strain on Aasandha. Much of this is preventable. That’s why we need to have a serious conversation about it. We need a national survey to understand why so many people are facing health and weight issues. Is it cause of our dietary habits, like having curry every day? Is it due to limited space for physical activity? Are high rise buildings discouraging people from going out once they’re home? Or is it something to do with the ingredients we commonly use? Is it the oil that STO is selling? What is it? A chronically unhealthy workforce weakens national productivity and security.

NIGERIA UPDATE: El-Rufai’s response to the statements by the National Security Adviser and the Kaduna State Government alleging the ‘Politicization of National Security’. - Part 3 of 3 As Governor of Kaduna State for eight years, we worked with two Ministers of Defence, one National Security Adviser, two Chiefs of Defence Staff, three Chiefs of Army Staff, two Chiefs of Naval Staff, two Chiefs of Air Staff, two Chiefs of Defence Intelligence, four Inspectors-General of Police, and three Directors-General of the State Security Service (DSS). This is aside from several General Officers Commanding, Air Officers Commanding, Commissioners of Police, State Directors of Security, and military commanders at state levels. Our appreciation for the sacrifices made and still being made by our military and security officers is deep. That is why we speak out about those saddled with immense responsibility two years ago who seem to view security management as a persistent exercise in propaganda and make-belief, and as cover for diverting public funds and abusing power with impunity. Neither the ONSA nor the Kaduna State Government can stop the exercise of constitutional rights to associate with others, have meetings, express opinions and alternatives to the fictitious narrative of officialdom. They are advised to concentrate their efforts on solving security issues, rather than seeing in the misery of affected citizens opportunities to claim false glories and divert and squander funds. Insecurity is the menace they ought to eliminate, not opposition voices and platforms. The repeated haranguing by the KDSG of some of its own officials and some security agencies for not disrupting visits and meetings in Kaduna by certain prominent persons is well-known. The thuggery unleashed against the ADC meeting of Saturday, 30 August 2025 shows that those harangued government officials and some officers of security agencies have succumbed to blandishments to sponsor and enable violence against those that legitimately oppose their government. Why is this not attracting the attention of the ONSA as a major security issue? Is it until it leads to anarchy due to total politicization of policing in the state?. National security is a very serious matter, critical to the peace and prosperity of the country, and the safety and wellbeing of citizens. It is unpatriotic to disguise incompetence in understanding it, much less managing it, as media stunts. Today I set out deep concerns about how the Government has handled decisions and communications surrounding the recent China spying case and the question of whether China poses a threat to the UK’s national security. The Government has made it difficult to obtain clear information about the timeline of meetings and the reasoning behind official statements. The Government’s approach has been evasive and inconsistent, with denials later giving way to partial admissions. This lack of transparency has eroded confidence and made it harder to get to the truth. At the heart of the issue is the role of the Deputy National Security Adviser (DNSA), who told Parliament that he was simply reflecting the Government’s position when asked whether China poses an active national security threat. I argued that this is not good enough. The question was a straightforward one, and the answer should have been equally straightforward: China does pose a threat to the UK’s national security across multiple fronts, from espionage and cyberattacks to sanctions and disinformation. I raised concerns about the meeting on 1 Sept, which appears to contradict earlier statements by the Prime Minister that no further evidence or discussions took place after that date. If such a meeting did occur with senior security officials present, the Government should release the minutes, at the very least to the Intelligence and Security Committee, to clarify what was discussed. I called for honesty and clarity in how the UK defines and responds to threats from China. Those of us who have been sanctioned and targeted by the Chinese state know first-hand how that threat manifests. The Government must stop obfuscating and start treating this issue with the seriousness it deserves: by acknowledging the reality of the threat, being transparent with Parliament and the public, and taking firm, decisive action to protect our national security.

Having the same community in a sensitive docket like Interior was the biggest blunder ever to happen to Kenya. Kenyans MUST be worried and really be concerned about the security of the country because the NIS Boss is in record to have said publicly that DANGEROUS CRIMINALS are in the country from the neighbouring countries like #Somalia #SouthSudan #Ethiopia and #Uganda. Who is "eating the monies meant for securing our borders"? If everything declassified about China's illegal interference in our election ends with nobody arrested and nobody in jail, we will know there is no justice in America, and that we are a conquered nation. This is why I keep saying America 250 is not a celebration. It is a funeral. I love this country, but we are severely compromised and infiltrated by our foreign adversaries, right down to our intel agencies and our own digital infrastructure. And look at the double standard.
