Our government has condemned in the strongest terms the appalling mistreatment of civilians, including Canadians, aboard the Gaza-bound flotilla. Today, in the House of Commons, I reiterated our government’s position. The safety and security of Canadians abroad will always be our top priority, and we will continue to engage directly with Israeli authorities at the highest levels on this matter.
