We studied the pattern of fire and retaliated accordingly within seconds. We destroyed their bunkers and launching pads and inflicted heavy casualties... This is a Medium Machine Gun (MMG), and has heavy fire power... When Pakistan could not retaliate to our fire on their posts, they started targeting our civilian areas... 🚨🚨🚨#ISPR On night 20-21 December 2024, a group of Khawarij attempted to attack a Security Forces Check Post in area of Makeen, South Waziristan District. The attempt was effectively thwarted by our troops and in ensuing fire exchange, eight khwarij were sent to hell. However, during intense fire exchange, Sixteen brave sons of soil, having fought gallantly embraced Shahadat. Sanitization operation is being conducted in the area and the perpetrators of the heinous act will be brought to justice. Security forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave men further strengthen our resolve.

Our EAM was saying that PM Modi and President Trump didn't talk for the last 2 months. However, the American Vice President did talk to Modi ji. On 10th May, 5.25 PM, Trump wrote on social media that after a long night of talks mediated by the US, he was pleased to announce that India and Pakistan had agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire. Soon after that, at 5.37 PM, the US Secretary of State said that the two countries agreed to a ceasefire. This was followed by the Pakistani foreign minister confirming that a ceasefire had indeed been agreed to. Only at around 6 PM did our Foreign Secretary give the statement about the ceasefire. If the ceasefire happened without the intervention of Trump, why doesn't the GoI inform the nation in clear words? This is a clear intervention of a third party in India's affairs.
