THE KING, THE SLUM, AND THE PAWN: The Checkmated Chess Master I know I overthink and overanalyse things sometimes but most times I’m spot on, and it unfolds just like I sensed. The slum chess master blocked me, and not even a week later, the slum maker checkmated him. To whom much is given, much is expected. You can’t build your fame and reputation on the lives of innocent vulnerable children and then be seen giving a gift to the very evil that created their misery. Selfishness is why Nigeria will never get better, because Nigerians haven’t learned what patriotism truly means. The celebrities and the rich are always looking out for ourselves. They are opportunists to the core, never thinking of the collective good. And our politicians know this. They exploit it. Shamelessly. I know this isn’t the time to laugh in Nigeria but this is my gotcha tweet.

The uglier their ignorance is, the deeper it pushes me back to the truth of Hashem. Funny how the “opposition” is leading me back to the root. Thank you to this beautiful couple and the hundred or so others like them in Birmingham who were not intimidated by the fools on the corner. I am proud to call you my fans and now we are family. They can shout whatever they want but if they dropped their ego’s and their signs and came inside their hearts would warm in the glow that we all know.
