Did you notice that he got better towards the end because she made him feel comfortable? When he thanked her for being kind, that killed me! 😭

How do you see or meet someone like this and not have any empathy or patience? 🥺

That’s brave beyond words to that lad, the sheer respect he got from his server is wonderful too.

My oldest son had a stutter for about a year (3-4yrs old). The amount of adults that were impatient with him was disheartening. I would always make my son use his manners and sometimes it would take a while to get “thank you” out of his mouth. It was rough.

And still took less then a minute to complete his order. It’s not hard to be kind and slow down a little to accommodate to someone. If it’s annoying or frustrating to you can you imagine how annoying and frustrating it is for the person actively dealing with it AND being ignored

It’s not hard at all to be kind. Plus, it feels fucking amazing to improve someone’s day.

I used to have a woman with one arm come into my cafe. I would take her her food and cut it up for her, I grew to sitting and chatting, really I was too busy cooking, but I used to really look forward to her coming. Most people are understanding of disability these days.

My friend. He’s in my prayers. I too, have a stutter and have since about 6 years old. It’s a trap inside of us that nearly eliminates the ability to REALLY enjoy speaking, and it’s invisible to others. Yes you see and hear the stutter, but man, the war inside is crippling. God bless him.

this touches my heart. My granddaughter is 26 and has this issue also and when someone is rude or laughs I have to keep control or I will lose my sh!t on them. She is an absolutely stunning woman and has found a great husband who loves her unconditionally. But people can be absolutely heartless.

This comment section is so nice, I didn't know Twitter was still capable of this. Stuttering is a disability, but I feel a lot of the time it's not given that much attention. My dad's stutter is a lot worse than mine, and people look at him like he's having a stroke
