Whatever tools you use to make film, hollywood can afford bigger and better. They have the infrastructure and the money. They also have the human writers and actors that level up anything you can create with AI.

As a director I can say it’s great - and we use it for preproduction too - as a director it allows me to paint my dreams and it will enable so many story telling talents to show their vision and skills. But it just won’t replace the human (f)actor and that’s just fine.

There is nothing creative about AI. Not one thing. You wanna be a filmmaker? Go study film.

Most movies are political garbage wrapped as entertainment, basically. But soon, nerds in their basement will be able to deliver the real stuff. The future is bright.

as long as your movie can keep that one cut every second tempo, you’ll be fine. just don’t linger on the characters too long or have them speak

the interesting thing isn't better films than Hollywood. it's films from people Hollywood never would have greenlit. the barrier was never talent. it was capital and gatekeeping. AI removes both. the storytellers who couldn't get a meeting are the ones to watch now.
