They are Rwandan Youth Group, a group of young people who became famous online by singing Chinese songs. In 2019, drawn by their love for Chinese culture and Chinese music, these young people came together and formed the band. Over the years, they have posted more than 1,000 singing videos on Chinese social media and gained over 10 million followers. They have brought the beauty of Chinese songs and language back to the villages and cities of Rwanda. And for us, far away in China, their dreams, talent, passion, and voices have shown us a different side of Rwanda.

Koreans generally don’t need a social credit system to follow basic public rules like not jaywalking. However, some Chinese visitors, aware that Jeju has no such system, have been reported to jaywalk freely, litter, and in some cases even defecate in public. There was even an online boycott movement against Jeju in China, as many believed Korean police were unfairly targeting Chinese tourists with jaywalking fines. However, most of those fines went to Chinese visitors simply because they were the ones most frequently caught jaywalking in Jeju.

Since kindergarten, the Chinese have been educated that "when trouble arises, find our PLA soldiers or police." The PLA is affectionately called "our most beloved ones" by the people, and veterans and soldiers are honoured for protecting the people and country. They are granted advantages like discounted tickets to tourist spots, although they rarely use them and instead stand in line like everyone else. Many Westerners find it hard to believe when they visit China for the first time, but the Chinese have a strong trust in our PLA soldiers and police, and the relationship between the people and the PLA is highly cordial.

With the Chinese New Year approaching, staff at airports and train stations around China are now dressed in traditional Chinese Hanfu to greet tourists returning home for family reunions after a year of hard work. In recent years, with the Chinese people, particularly the younger generations, taking great pride in their culture and traditions, an increasing number of people have begun to wear Hanfu in daily life. Traditional Han Chinese clothing styles, known as hanfu, have been in use since the second millennium BCE. So proud of my culture and my people.

I often post one of dozens of surveys conducted by Harvard, Latana, and others showing that Chinese people report they are 'satisfied' with or 'approve of' the Chinese government in Beijing. A lot of data also reports on Chinese satisfaction with their democracy. Folks, ignorant about China, often exclaim that Chinese people are forced to respond in such ways. This is a ludicrous cope. Here is a video of people who pay for a service to be filmed crossing China's Palace Museum, in front of Chairman Mao, carrying flags of the PRC. There are thousands of such videos on Chinese social media. Their love of China reflects my own 13 years of talking with regular Chinese people, everyday. The vast majority of Chinese people ADORE the PRC and the CPC too. These are FACTS.

The driver of the train wasn’t able to see them as they were behind a pole. Their families are suing the train company for $900,000 in damages as the signage was unclear. Since 2009 there have been four other incidents at this crossing, including one death.

When a Chinese female tourist walked by his door, he tried to converse with her despite her language barrier and initial shock. Tito showed her his Chinese PLA graduation certificate and told her that he missed China and that most of his pilot friends had already died.
