When I see this individual named mark carney, I feel an incredible level of anger and discomfort. Last week alone, 16 people from different families close to me LEFT CANADA. And many hundreds more have left this year. This government has betrayed the Jewish community on a level of NO RETURN. And while Jewish Canadians are going through attacks, intimidation and humiliation, Mark Carney has the AUDACITY to make statements about “Muslim values being Canadian values.” Did anybody tell him that, just in Toronto, some of our major hospitals were built, supported and transformed through enormous contributions from Jewish families? Did anybody tell him about the extraordinary Jewish contribution to Canadian hospitals, universities, medicine, business, science and philanthropy for generations? The Jewish community helped BUILD this country. And now Jews are LEAVING. Many of us are simply not going to stay where we no longer feel welcome or safe. What comes after that? I am not envious of anyone who will have to live with the consequences. This is absolutely DISGUSTING.
