After watching this Trevor Story interview, and with the news on him and Pivetta, I’m more in on this Red Sox team than I’ve EVER been. I don’t give a s**t if they look like the Bad News Bears tomorrow, or the day after that. There’s going to be shell shock from the team, that’s what we saw today. I mean, how can you NOT expect that?? The dude who just worked his tail off to get back to being the best version of himself AND committed to being the leader of this team in the offseason, brought younger guys under his wing, helped instill confidence in them.. A guy that’s wanted nothing more than to show the city of Boston who he is… goes down with a season ending injury that will force him to miss his third straight year of playing baseball?!?! Baseball… the thing that he loves to do more than anything else in the world. I’m more in on this team now than I’ve ever been. I don’t give a s**t if I’ve got to watch struggles and mishaps and growing pains. I still believe this team has really damn good baseball players, and I believe there are plenty who are hungry to prove everyone wrong about what they can or can’t do. I’m definitely a sick puppy. But I’m ALL IN. #dirtywater #RedSox #TrevorStory #ResilienceMatters
