Seeing the Matrix headlights selectively dim as a vehicle is approaching is awesome. A huge help to keep brights on rural roads. You can see the other driver turn off their brights.

This what the new Model Y's Matrix LED headlights will be able to do in a couple months via a new adaptive beam feature. This feature will automatically dim/adjust specific sections of the headlights to prevent blinding oncoming drivers and drivers in front of you, all while keeping the surrounding areas brightly lit. Older Teslas in the US with Matrix LEDs headlights will also get this functionality via a software update. The adaptive beam feature on Teslas hasn't been allowed in the US, which is why despite Tesla putting Matrix LEDs in many of their cars in the US for years, Tesla hasn't been able to enable this feature. Now the company is finally getting the certifications. Countries in Europe have had this feature for a little while.

For people who think U-turns on narrow roads are a problem, check out this clip from Nagaland when I visited last year. They form a SINGLE LINE on right lane for making U-turn. No crowding at the U-turn, no cutting lanes, no honking. Everyone waiting patiently for their turn in Q. If they can do it why can't we? As I keep saying, it all comes down to 'driver behaviour'. If you fix driver error with good Driver education even our traffic can improve. MORTHINDIA is spending 2.70 LAKH CRORE Rupees each year on improving infrastructure but nothing on improving driver behaviour. There in lies the flaw... #RoadSafety

Caught on camera in West Drayton. A newly passed driver (HK68 AAE) clips a parked BMW, a passer-by asks the driver to stop, and they drive off without leaving any details. Their Numberplate is If you hit a parked car, the move is simple: stop and leave your details. Driving off can count as failing to stop, which is an offence, and a dashcam or a witness will catch it every time. 📍 West Drayton, UB7 #ub1ub2 #london #westdrayton

#Hyderabad: Caught on #CCTV: A speeding Mercedes-Benz (TS 07 EX 5556) created #chaos at #Nanakramguda in #Gachibowli after crashing into another #car and attempting to flee the #scene. Alerted about the #incident, a #constable on duty at the #IIITJunction tried to stop the #vehicle. Shockingly, the #driver identified as G Tarun (24), sped towards him, causing the #constable to land on the car’s #bonnet and dragging him for nearly a kilometre. With the help of other #motorists, the #car was finally stopped and police took the driver into #custody. Further #investigation is underway.
