I prefer the Bardock from his solo movie. It was more in line with what was told about the saiyans in DBZ. That they were a brutal warrior species (everyone, including the females), born only to battle. These DBS saiyans look too much civilized. Even Bardock has a driver

I like movie version more, this one just feels way to close to superman original arrival to earth.

I will say it again, as beautiful as this version is, it is still a Superman origin to me and prefer the original version more. What makes Goku special is the fact that he’s not special. Meant to destroy the earth, only to become its greatest protector.

I hate it. Gine and a Bardock being somewhat kind ruins the whole "Goku being the only good Saiyan" thing. Makes him less unique when the whole idea of the Saiyans is that they were a violent, barbaric race and only cared to fight and conquer being opposed to Goku's philosophy
