Seeing this in a cartoon as a kid was insane

Youre definitely making me want to watch this one again.

I watched it again today for the first time in a while after this post and this scene was actually nothing compared to how dark some scenes get

I think thats why I love it so much is because it was legit terrifying in some scenes. I haven't watched it since maybe the 90s.

If it's been that long you definitely owe it to yourself to check it out again! It's nice and short too without any wasted scenes

I know haha. I own both but is part reo worth it ?

Part two? I heard it was terrible and checked it out regardless but unfortunately they were right, I couldn't even finish it personally and I can always tolerate low quality Scooby-Doo stuff

I tbink my least favorite scooby doo anything is the 80s cartoons with just scooby and shaggy. I could be remembering that wrong though.

Yeah some shows after SD where are you? were really bad. I still have to check out the newer ones from the 2000s and onward that I missed because they came out when I stopped watching cartoon network, I hear good things about some of them

This was probably the peak of Scooby Doo right here. Having the impossible and unexplainable ACTUALLY being unexplainable. Perfect setup and story for this, the sequel was no where close to this BUT still enjoyable enough.

So many episodes of fake monsters, and people wearing masks, to FINALLY a moment where the monsters were actually real! Totally blew my mind as a kid back in those days! And with a killer song to go with it! 😎🤙

Probably my favorite Scooby Doo media I've ever watched. I liked it better than the show. It's right up there with Courage the Cowardly Dog and Invade Zim.

We used to have proper entertainment in this country.

This and The Witches Ghost are my all time favorite scooby doo movies.

where the van at

Followed by one of the best songs ever:

This movie used to have me looking out my bedroom window

I miss watching Scooby Doo and other cartoons. Might need to start watching again

Year??

1998

The camera pan to Daphne in pure fear was wild.

it was so scary back then

This is one of the best scooby movies ever if not the best. Interesting trivia, this movie was based on a Real Adventures of Jonny Quest episode titlted Eclipse.

And in the today's kids shows everything is for weeklings. Childhood is not just 0-3, childhood is a way larger range. And 8-14 yo's have right to see good Entertainment too! RIP shows like BTAS, Spiderman and Gargoyles. We never got good stuff like these again.

the scariest scooby doo movie!

Legit the only one I never saw as a kid, I need to watch it still because I still never did

The Best of the best.

Great movie

This, the first Scream movie, and goosebumps (both the books and show) on repeat when I was a kid is why horror became my fav genre

One of my favorite movies of all time. @Tubi Go ahead and add all the Scooby Doo Movies please.

Loved this movie growing up 1 of my favs

Dafne and luffy would get along together

I love the movie, but man, Billy West and Scott Innes do not fit as Shaggy and Scooby.

I miss Scooby-Doo 🥲

haha

How did she catch the head... When she was holding the camera?

I tried to watch it and they’re chanrgjng for it 💀💀💀

Yeah

Scooby doo is actually one of the old time cartoons with the darkest themes

Very good

One of the best animated movies ever back then
