That alien civilization is US and the power of possibility is reaching out through this episode! I’m trying to take it to heart, to get a Fellowship of Trek going strong, something I wish was available for me growing up, rather than the Bible studies, church doomsday services and indoctrinating religious schools I attended as a kid, with millions like it across America setting the stage for Trump. We need a Spaceship Earth-Crew Fellowship of Trek!

@ansonmount So I have thought about this. Since records of the time are spotty and depending what timeline we are in. We are headed for the Eugenics War. But instead of being led by an intelligent superman like Khan. It will be led by a dumb sweet potato.

Sanger and the American left in the beginning of the 20th century were the major proponents of eugenics. They went hand in hand with President Wilson’s ideas that the country needed to abandon the constitution and have the world controlled by the ‘educated’ elite. They are (among) the subjects of Huxley’s novel Brave New World.
