my thoughts on Mike Brown's comments about KAT: "i've been saying this ... KAT isn't a true #1 option, but he's paid like one — so that puts the Knicks in a very weird predicament (...) everyone has bad shooting nights, but lack of effort is unacceptable." CBS Sports

WATCH: Trump on Erdogan & Netanyahu: He (Erdogan) hasn't been involved with Syria, you know, if you think he hasn't been involved with Israel at all. And he's left it alone. I wouldn't say he's a friend because, he's not a friend of Netanyahu. They don't get along, I think, but you know, like, for me, he's been great. Look, Türkiye’s been a fantastic ally. They're also a NATO country.

Niko Medved on Jeremy Fears Jr.: I mean, you know, he's taken a lot of heat and all that. He's a great player, you know, and Coach gates, on our staffs coached his brother. Knows the family. He is a, I know he's a great kid. He's a competitor. That's who he is. Yeah, he's, you know, he gets a little carried away. And, you know, we saw that on on film, and, you know, I thought they did the right thing that way, but he's a great player. He's a guy you'd love to have on your team. But you know, we also, you know, there's a time you can't do what he did, and I guarantee you he knows that, but he's a great player. #Gophers

🔥TIM DILLON nails the truth about Trump: he's in total "lockstep" with the Deep State "What is he doing that they don't like? ... He's in Iran. He kidnapped Maduro. Flock cameras are everywhere. The tech people are getting all the money" "He's running crypto scams out of the Oval Office. His family's gotten really rich. [Re:] immigration, there's no legislation passed, so everything he's done is executive order, and it's all reversible" "What would they want him to do that he's not doing? He seems to be pretty lockstep with all of these people" "Surveillance technology's everywhere. The pace at which unregulated AI is going to grow and become a real problem is harrowing. We're about to commit troops to a war with the country, and we'll probably lose" "I'm asking all the smart people. I'm excluding the paid hack MAGA people that are getting paid by this" "Oh, he unwound D.E.I. Ta da. Great. I'm all for that. [But]... we're about to invade Iran" "And they [the Deep State] probably didn't like Trump early on. I don't know what happened. They certainly didn't like him early on. They seem to have warmed to him now. I don't know what happened" "Maybe it has to do with that shooting, but no one will investigate it. So I don't know" Tim Dillon

I just didn't want the camera on me at the time because, and he knows this, I'm all about winning. "I like to - I don't want to say win in style - but when we're up, I just want to punish people. I want to get out there with a W, clear-minded. ... "It's like, I didn't want the camera on me. That's my brother. He's going to do what he's going to do, but it's like, 'Man, now right now. I'm a little ticked of with how the game went."

"So what does he say? He says he's going to put a 10% cap on interest rates. You know what he hasn't done? Put a 10% cap on credit card interest rates. There's all sorts of things that come out of the man's mouth." Too often we talk about what he's talking about, but we ought to talk about what he's doing.

. Kris Pursiainen: "You've played with a lot of guards. What's special about Jose?" Karl-Anthony Towns: "I mean, it's tough for me to be a Dominican talking about a Puerto Rican like this but he's..." Jose Alvarado: "I knew that was coming." KAT: "Man, when you talk about somebody who not only lives up to the moment but plays with his emotion, and utilizes that to his advantage, that's a rare quality. A lot of times, you play with a lot of people and they play with emotion but it gets the better of them. And for Jose, that emotion is what drives him and makes him take it to another level. He's a special player. His tenacity, his defensive ability and his offensive ability that I got to see firsthand when [D'Angelo Russell] asked, could he shoot, and now I know, he really can shoot. It's special. He has so much to his basketball game that people don't give credit to, and I'm glad at this stage on a night like this, he was able to show the world what he can do when he's given a chance. And Jose Alvarado clearly told everyone in the world tonight he's a big-time player." Jose: "That's a Dominican person saying that."

Take a moment to watch this prophetic exchange between Shaq and KAT from last February. This was brutally honest advice from an NBA legend. We are now watching it manifest into being, with the Knicks en route to a championship and KAT as MVP. And doing it against the freak of nature that is Victor Wembanyama. Shaq: “At the beginning of the game, I said you were playing soft because I’ve seen you at times when you play great. And what you must understand in New York is that you need to be great for your guys to win a championship. If you guys win a championship, of course they’re gonna talk about Brunson, but it’s you and your play; you have to be dominant. You responded very, very well; you played very well. You played in the paint. That’s how you should play. You should always play.” KAT: “For sure, but what you said too is, if we win a championship, they can talk about anybody as long as we get a ring, that’s the most important thing, I don’t care. I don’t care about any of that.” Shaq: “No, but you’ve got to play great. One-two punch, and you’re part of that one-two punch.” KAT: “Hell yeah, but I wanna make sure that we all understand that the main goal here is to win. It don’t matter who gets the credit or whatever.” Shaq: “It’s not about credit. Nope, you got to play great.” KAT: “Sure, I hear you. Legend, I agree with you.” In other words, Shaq challenges KAT to toughen up and find his eye of the tiger. To drive the ball into the paint more, to stop whining about fouls and no calls and get back on defense. If he wants to win a championship, the Knicks need him to be aggressive both physically and mentally, it can’t just be Jalen Brunson. KAT pushes back. Says it doesn’t matter who gets the credit, Brunson can have all the credit. But Shaq doesn’t accept that answer. Because he knows what kind of greatness it takes to win a championship. And eventually KAT realizes he’s right.

Alan Hahn on Wemby: “He lacked humility. He'll learn. But one thing he also needs to learn from all this is to acknowledge the opponent. He walked off the floor after he was taught how to win by Jalen Brunson and the Knicks. One day he's going to win a championship — I'm going to say that with confidence, he's going to win a championship one day, maybe more. And when he does, I hope at that moment he realizes: 'I learned how to win by losing to that team and that guy.'”
