Seems like the very least we could do. I realize that the SBC is a complex, interconnected network, with a lot happening in both independent and overlapping ways. Yet it saddens me that it took so long to acknowledge the loss at the annual meeting this week. #SBC25

“So originally, Paint by Numbers was like track one of the album. And at that time, the album was very different. It was like sonically sounding very different. It was like very introspective. I think I was really starting to feel like, you know, I think I loved the idea of opening the album with, oh, what a gift it is to be noticed, but it's nothing to do with me. I just loved, I was like so dedicated to that being the opening line. And I felt so like powerful in a lot of ways to be able to acknowledge that it's not really about me, you know. I mean the opening, the whole opening of the song is, oh, what a gift is to be noticed, but it's nothing to do with me. You've got to wonder if there's a reason to believe it's a lifetime of learning to Paint By Numbers and watching colors run.” - Harry about ‘Paint by Numbers’ on Q

"It just seems in many ways so 'not Liverpool' but then I need to accept the reality that it is because it's happening." "It's a reinforcement that we all need to protect it and that you can't be blasé like I have and just go 'oh yeah we're not like that." Watch in full 🚨👇

“Failure is so much more interesting than success. And it always saddens me that school doesn't teach that. At school the thing is to be brilliant and to get the answer right first time. And there are brilliant people who could do that, but for the rest of us who are not brilliant, we have to strive, and we have to go through failure. And we realize that you don't get it right the first time or the second time. In my case and I counted it. It took 5,127 times. With failure you question it “Well why did it go wrong?” And actually the reason it goes wrong is often very, very interesting. Where something works you say “Great that worked.” You don't even stop to wonder why it works. So if you've got to enjoy failure.” —James Dyson

Tucker Carlson: ‘The United States, with Israel, is blowing up Chinese-built infrastructure, so that seems like a big step. And it seems that, in doing so, you could risk further Chinese participation in this conflict. Are we risking that?’ Col. Wilkerson: ‘I think we are. We're not at the cusp yet, I don't think. I'm waiting to see exactly how we deal with all the Chinese shipping. That would be, I think, a deal-breaker and perhaps make China even more infuriated, and maybe even lead it to do more than it's already doing.’

I saw the ERLC clip Willy Rice is referring to years after the fact and the arrogance of it took my breath away. And that attitude continues with many SBC leaders today. Just a couple days ago, someone sent me this video of SEND Network President Vance Pittman telling 200 new church planters that calls for financial transparency are "B.S." This was at the most recent Send Network Orientation in Alpharetta at NAMB HQ. I believe it was in February. If this funding is so well-accounted for, then how hard would it be to produce a report for the SBC at large?

John Krasinski says he and Steve Carell needed 17 takes just to speak while filming Steve’s final scene on The Office "When Steve left, that was actually the last scene of Steve’s last day, and I didn’t realize that until later" "So I go in to do this scene, and it just hit me. You were in the room with Steve, and he had been really quiet all day, very sweet but very quiet. I think we knew that this was it" "We rolled, and I remember the director telling me it was 17 takes before we got one word out. There were a lot of retouches. I think that scene took like four and a half hours"

“I put the star in the star hole. A lot of people can't do that. They try to put it in the hexagon hole. But I put it in the star hole, and it only took me three attempts. I'd like to see AOC do that."

TXT Beomgyu mentioned Jin on his birthday Weverse live: “I’ll start by talking about that. Starting from Run Jin, after I filmed that, Seokjin-hyung started looking after me a lot. We often had dinner together, and at that time, I was going through a bit of a cold season (a difficult time), so Seokjin-hyung called me to cheer me up and even grilled meat for me. We interacted a lot, he’s such a great person. Honestly, the harder it is to approach someone, the more straightforwardly I tend to approach them. I do it on purpose because I want to break down that barrier. And Seokjin-hyung accepted it all so well, took care of me a lot, and even today, right around the time I was about to start this live, he sent me a message wishing me a happy birthday. He’s such a good person. Just from looking at him, he seems like a very kind person, and in reality, he truly is. He’s such a great sunbae-nim. I wanted to say this at least once.”

Talk about a week for ESPN - the thought that they were struggling, the ship was sinking, they were going woke, and all this bullshit. It seems like business is doing just fine, and it's going to do a hell of a lot better very, very soon.

#F1 | Lewis Hamilton believes the team is very well equipped to take on the 2026 season: “Just to be in Fiorano, you know, to be at Ferrari, to be here, to know that this is a start of a long journey, but one that I know that it just feels right, I think the team is in the best place it’s been, I think, for the time I’ve been here. And seeing everyone so motivated and driven, I think we’re really on it.” “We’ve got a lot of work to do to really make sure we do all the diligence and we really understand this car and we really have to be quick to react, be very dynamic but I feel like all hands are on deck so I’m sure we can do that.”

Listen to JD Vance finally acknowledge that the inflation crisis in America is real and that he and Trump have a lot of work to do. "Well, I guess my message to Americans is we know that we have a lot of work to do in order to deliver on the prosperity that the American people deserve. The President is hyper-aware of this. I'm hyper-aware of this. We talk about it all the time. We know that the American people inherited a very bad inflation crisis. Yes, the inflation number last month was not great."
