Seems there has been some high profile turnover at Webflow recently. According to LinkedIn average tenure is only 1.6 years. I used ATMOS along with tldraw and some bookmarks Colleen M. Brady and I have been tracking to map out the most notable departures from Webflow since 2020. -... show more

@ATMOS_PR @tldraw @ColleenMBrady it seems like a lot of people but the company size has grown so much that attrition at any level is pretty common

@ATMOS_PR @tldraw @ColleenMBrady I have zero information anecdotal or otherwise and don't want to speculate. Having seen similar situations unfold before, I'll offer the following thoughts which I think are are wrapped in an enormous amount of optimism and reality. Starting with: 1) Webflow will be just fine

I agree Webflow will be fine. For now. But there is a lot of competition brewing and some of it is looking quite impressive. I also know some of these folks were critical to the success of the company, we’re I high level roles, and are leaving at weird times with this being 10 year anniversary and us being a month away from conf. Yes, they will all get paid big when this thing goes public. If they can hold the shares. But this is not a minor moment in time. We’re watching Webflow shed it’s baby teeth as the adult teeth come in and grind out the profits. I feel like webflow culture has shifted significantly in the last 2-3 years as the VC money came in and they started scaling for enterprise. Just a whole different operation. Focused more on systems rather than innovation. They will continue to grow. But they lost the startup culture and the fast paced excitement. This may also be driving people away. Too many layers of management. The way they operate now does not align with their initial core mission and values and I see this as external Signs of a company who is way off track from where they set out to be.

@ATMOS_PR @tldraw @ColleenMBrady Lol. The whole detective meme is what we are going for. How do you map visual relationships in disparate data in visual ways. Here is is with red lines. 👀🤣

@ATMOS_PR @tldraw @ColleenMBrady Didn’t know Maguire left 🥲

@ATMOS_PR @tldraw @ColleenMBrady He announced it yesterday.

@ATMOS_PR @tldraw @ColleenMBrady Let me know when you're done cooking. Interested...

@ATMOS_PR @tldraw @ColleenMBrady Lmao. Just visual experiments in data mapping as part of our efforts over at @ATMOS_PR Soon anyone will be able to create maps like this and organize theories, complex topics, breaking news in a very interactive and collaborative way.

@ATMOS_PR @tldraw @ColleenMBrady This is good. Webflow needs new ideas. And people need new challenges. It’s normal for any growing business, the only difference is we’re quite familiar with Webflow and the comings and goings of the team. Onward!
