That last line has always stayed with me... "All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain." I feel like every person has this sentiment when we truly contemplate our own mortality and realize that we're just 1 generation amongst countless throughout our history.

when you think about "award" snubs crap... that man put down one of the greatest performances of all time let alone a year but it was sci-fi. has haunted me since i was 12.

For me. The most important film ive seen. When 15 year old me saw this on the big screen and stepped out of the theatre into a rain soaked neon lite back of a shopping center that looked like that world. I knew what i wanted to do. Incredible movie

And he wrote that whole thing himself because he didn’t like the script

Rutger Hauer shined in so many movies. The Hitcher being another one.
