It was a decommissioned Starlink satellite

They say it's a fireball meteor, but it also kind of looks like an old satellite that burned up. At least that's what I would imagine it to look like. Either way, the colors were incredible!

That doesn’t look like a meteor to me. Looks more like a satellite reentering the atmosphere. This is what a starlink satellite looks like when it crashes back to earth and burns up on reentry.

Is this not like orphan wells? They have thousands of these starlinks and they allow them like garbage fell or not from sky. If you don’t have ability to clean after yourself perhaps you shouldn’t have permission to put these starlinks in to space?
