Selective secularism is the real problem. When some people promote religious boycotts, there’s silence. When Hindus talk about the same choice, suddenly the liberals start crying hypocrisy! The double standards are loud and clear.

True secularism requires a consistent, impartial approach applied equally to all groups.

So, don't be surprised! This is called 'HALALONOMICS' or their malicious project of Halal certification. They created a massive $3 trillion economy only from Halal Certification. Precisely what Harinder Sikka has been fighting against for the last decade. The entire ecosystem, starting from procuring/producing the raw materials up to the finished product, the entire supply chain should be or must be ideally, run by Muslims and only Muslims. Have we stopped going to the Muslim shops or buying products manufactured by a Muslim organisation? Have we stopped buying flowers or incense sticks from the Muslim vendors sitting outside the mandirs before entering our Mandirs? Do we check whether the food which is served on the aircraft is Halal certified or not? Most likely no. Are we at all bothered about the fact that a portion of this money is used against us, or kill us (Hindus), which they call Ghazwa-e-Hind? We are indirectly and ignorantly strengthening them economically. And we remain blissfully ignorant about that cancer which has already infected our society.

The real test of secularism is consistency. The same standards must apply to everyone, regardless of religion. No selective outrage, no double standards. 💯

consistency matters. If a boycott call, a religious-identity-based appeal, or a demand for "own community only" shopping is criticized when it comes from one group and ignored when it comes from another, that is selective outrage. Many people across the spectrum, #Secularism

if you believe in secularism, then explain this. this video is reportedly from hampi, where some muslim visitors appear to be walking over a shivling with their shoes on. and yet, we’re supposed to believe that religious disrespect is never an issue? this is southern india, where people take pride in peaceful coexistence, but apparently, standing up for hindu sentiments is suddenly a problem. we north indians are constantly mocked as uncivilised, called “gaaye gobar” people, and blamed for communal politics. but when incidents like this happen, where does all that talk about tolerance and secularism go? why is disrespect towards hindu deities and sanatan heritage so casually brushed aside? and be honest, if the same thing happened at an islamic religious site, would people be this dismissive? i’m sick of the double standards. our philosophy is simple: live and let live. respect our faith, our deities, and our heritage, just as we respect yours. stop expecting hindus to swallow every insult in the name of secularism and then lecture them about tolerance when they speak up. asking for basic respect doesn’t make someone an andhbhakt or islamophobic. it makes them someone who refuses to accept hypocrisy. repeated disrespect breeds resentment, and pretending otherwise won’t make the problem disappear. religious tolerance cannot mean that one community gets to express its outrage while another is expected to remain silent. stop the double standards, stop disrespecting each other’s faith, and stop treating hindu sentiments as if they don’t matter. india has bigger goals to achieve than endless religious hostility. if we want this country to move forward, mutual respect has to go both ways. the whole world isn’t going to become muslim, and nobody should be expected to abandon their faith to prove they’re secular. live and let live. respect our faith, or don’t preach to us about tolerance.
