That's most likely a jammed accelerator. Either the car was from one of those batches which was recalled, or the pedal got stuck because of improperly fixed carpets

Dash cam footage has captured the moment a woman jumps in front of a ute in Browns Plains earlier this week, with police now investigating the suspicious behaviour. The driver reported the incident to police immediately at Crestmead Station, however responding officers to the scene could not locate anybody involved. No reports of a hit and run nor injury complaint have been made. #9News

A video showing a motorcyclist using a weapon-like object to attack several moving vehicles along the Kaduwela–Colpettty road is circulating on social media. Police said the incident occurred on the evening of January 12. Officers from the Welikada Police Station pursued the suspect and arrested him shortly afterwards. Initial reports indicate that four vehicles were damaged during the incident. The suspect, a 29-year-old resident of Ragama, is due to be produced before court on January 13 Further investigations are being carried out by the Welikada Police.

I had to anticipate which way this guy was going to bounce and pick a side to sail through 😆 It’s hard to tell from the dash cam, but he hit that concrete pretty hard. This was in Massachusetts. I put up with this from coast to coast and saw some nasty accidents along the way.

Okay, today I’m going to be a Karen. This video shows a white SUV being classic left-lane camper which is driving below the posted speed limit in the passing lane. When another driver attempts to pass, they actively prevent them from passing by speeding up and playing games to block them. Should dash-cam footage like this be allowed to be submitted to the authorities so the offending driver can be fined? We already have red-light cameras and other automated systems that issue tickets for road violations. Why not allow clear, obvious violations captured on private dash cams to be enforced the same way? Is that a yay or nay for you?
