I feel so lucky to practice medicine today now that we have GLP-1 medications

You just described what happened to me on a ketogenic diet. The only cravings I ever had were for carb-rich foods.

When you say “durable weight loss” do you mean that weight loss is durable when someone stops taking semaglutide or do you mean “durable so long as they keep taking it”?

If it's so important how have we decided that it's OK charging 1/4 of an average worker's income for it?

I’m not sure any of us agreed to the price. I certainly did not consent.

How about diet and exercise??

You are cherry picking data. Other studies show that people put all the weight on after coming off Semaglutide.

Any potential negative long term problems with taking it?

any clinical/study results (or your own anecdotes of patients) of does this still work/apply for those who had previous weight loss surgeries? gastric sleeve, band, etc? could be overlapping mechanisms, just very interested as it applies to some people i know. thx for any help!

What’s the longest study you have seen? And how long is “long term” use?
