"There are several issues still outstanding, I think none of them are insurmountable." He acknowledged "there's still a lot more work to do." The bill, originally titled the CLARITY Act when it passed the House in July, would shift primary crypto oversight from the SEC to the CFTC. It has been delayed by government shutdowns, stablecoin yield disputes, and ethics concerns. The Senate Agriculture Committee has already advanced its version.
