Meet The Press played an ad going showing Chevalier’s deleted tweets to Chris Murphy. MTP: If you're saying the Democratic Party needs a bigger tent, does that include someone who called a former Democratic president a rapist? Murphy: I’m not super familiar with that race. So after lecturing about how his party needs to embrace and respect the will of the voters with the DSA candidates, Chris suddenly pretends to have no idea what the candidates themselves have actually said. Incredible.

"This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden." Former President Donald Trump talked to press from a garbage truck branded with his campaign logo ahead of his rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Wednesday. The stunt came after President Joe Biden commented on a joke that was made at Trump's New York City rally comparing Puerto Rico to garbage. Vice President Kamala Harris told reporters on Wednesday that she believes Biden clarified his remarks, but added: "I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for."

CONFRONTED: Henry Appel, National Security Council advisor, is confronted by James O'Keefe after being caught on hidden camera spilling the "Tea" about President Donald J. Trump saying "He [Biden] Can't Say a Sentence." "You’re Lucky I’m Not a Chinese spy," O’Keefe tells Appel, highlighting the sensitivity of his loose-lipped comments, including calling President Biden "Dead” and sharing his concern that the Trump administration will come after his colleagues in the National Security Council and how they are "Trauma-Bonded." When pressed about national security protocols and his tears over Trump’s victory, Appel chose to flee the scene in Washington, D.C., with O’Keefe remarking: "The Spy That Works for the Biden Administration… Running Away, Not Saying a Word."

🗞️ Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) backs Schumer amid Democratic frustration Sen. Chris Murphy said Sunday he continues to support Chuck Schumer as Democratic leader despite growing frustration within the party, saying the caucus remains united behind him. Speaking on NBC’s Meet the Press, Murphy said Schumer has a “very difficult job.” Murphy has previously pushed for a more confrontational strategy against the Trump administration, aligning with a group of progressive senators – sometimes referred to as the “Fight Club,” including Tina Smith and Chris Van Hollen – who are calling for a shift away from what they describe as an “establishment-first” approach following anger over a late-2025 government funding deal.

Fox Guest: On days like this, I'm so thankful we have President Trump in the white house and not Joe Biden or Kamala Harris because Joe Biden refused to meet with Putin Meanwhile the contrast could not be clearer with President Trump who's not afraid to use the power of the U.S. Presidency as a force for good

Velshi: In one of your tweets, you called Joe Biden a rapist. Did you believe that, and do you believe that? Chevalier responds with rehearsed word salad. Never answers the question. Closest she gets is “I regret my tweets." Velshi provides an assist and moves along, because he’s not there to get an answer, he’s there to help her try clean it up.

President Biden "has such limited ability to issue executive orders that would have an impact on the border," says Sen. Chris Murphy 🟧, as he calls instead for bipartisan border legislation from Congress. Biden "can't conjure resources out of thin air. If he were to try to shut down portions of the border, the courts would throw that out, I think, within a matter of weeks."

Sen. Chris Murphy just exposed what Trump is calling a “peace plan” for Ukraine and it’s not a peace plan at all. It’s a business deal for Trump’s billionaire friends. Putin didn’t send diplomats. He sent the head of his sovereign wealth fund to meet Trump insiders in Miami, with Jared Kushner in the room. Their pitch: lift sanctions, end the war, and open the door to massive Russian gas projects that Trump’s donors can cash in on. Ukraine gets nothing. Russia gets territory. Trump’s circle gets rich.

Asked at the Munich Security Conference about his assessment of Trump’s “ceasefire” and framework for Gaza’s future, Sen. Chris Murphy responded bluntly: “Is there a ceasefire?” noting that “hundreds of Gazans have been killed since the announcement.” He accused Trump of chasing “press releases and banners, not actual substance,” and failing to use U.S. leverage to push Israel toward real steps on reconstruction and Palestinian self-governance.
