Sen. Dave Murman has introduced a separate bill to move the state to permanent standard time, making for brighter mornings and darker evenings in the summer. His bill would take effect when Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota and Wyoming pass similar bills and requires no federal action.

Senator Murman’s bill is the only legal, safe, and healthy way to end clock changes. Permanent Standard Time preserves morning light, and summer evening light will always last longer than winter. Yes on LB302!

Murman’s bill preserves morning light, which DST robs. Summer light lasts long no matter what law we pass. End clock change now with permanent Standard Time, yes on LB302!

Yes to permanent Standard Time! Daylight Saving Time is a government mandate to wake early and sleep less. If you want more daylight after work, go to work earlier.
