And in a sense, the war is already escalating because now they have successfully shot down a U.S. Plane. They may have a U.S. Hostage. The president has no plan to end this war. And if he thinks he's going to get out of it by escalating, it's probably going to cost a lot more American lives. And it's going to be even harder to get back to the negotiating table. Unless we want to go to war with Iran every 3 or 4 years, then he's got to have a plan to bring this to a conclusion that's more than just a military action to take out some percentage of their launchers, that they're just going to rebuild anyway.

The list of losers of this illegal war of choice is plenty, the winners are few. Even if Iran considers itself a winner - and to some extent that is true - it means very little unless it is translated into a new order with sanctions relief. The Iranians have failed to achieve that yet. And frankly, Trump can better afford walking away from the talks since he already has secured his key goal - which is to get out of the war he never should have started.

From warmongering to pandering. September 12, 2001. Joe Biden is one of the first politicians to call for us to go to war after the September 11 attack. He didn't know who we should go to war with, but he wanted to go to war. As the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, Biden played a MASSIVE role in getting Bush the authorization to attack Iraq. There's an entire documentary on all the shady things Biden did (i.e., breaking for lunch in the middle of testimonies about Iraq's lack of capable WMDs and then never returning to the hearing). Biden got Bush the support to go to attack Iraq and for years after the war started, Biden defended the war. He even publicly defended the administration lying/exaggerating to get public support for the war (see second video in this thread, it's pretty amazing). During his campaign for President in 2020, the MSM stayed away from asking Biden difficult questions about his past. The few times he was asked about his support for the Iraq War he would answer "George Bush tricked me" and then claim that he always opposed the war. Two of the biggest lies he ever told, but the MSM didn't care. It was there to protect him, not expose him. Biden was so desperate for muslim votes in 2020 that he actually said that islam should be taught in schools and then started reading islamic scripture. So shameful. 1/3
