Its really the anti-musk bill. The majors are running scared a billionaire could come in and support a minor party to make them a third force in Australian politics. That's my take on it.

Of course they’d do that. The duopoly is really an oligarchy. They are the rulers of the Australian people and God forbid they could lose power to independent candidates.
