This is really stupid, while this is a viable direction that may solve some issues that are on the horizon, there is no white paper, no justification, no body of evidence that we can review to help us make a proper critical decision. ran a basic income pilot in ontario my friend Prof Jim @UrbanHealthProf was in charge of giving the government data on the pilot. I was thinking about joining that pilot but he advised me not to because I wouldn't be protected from clawbacks It's why I can't support a new basic income unless there's legislation to prevent clawbacks If there's clawbacks I can't support any basic income
