I have been asking some of the questions being asked here. For example; how does UoN charge 263K for Bachelor of Education while KU charges 183K for the same? How does UoN charge 441K for Civil Engineering while KU charges 336K for the same and both are accredited. Why?

Sen.Onyonka is way below the threshold of common sense. Let's be sensible enough. In 2002 we had only 7 P. Universities in kenya,in 2024 we have 69,the No.of University students in 22yrs ago was 1/8 of the current No.of university students,funding cannot be the same logically.

There can be private schools and colleges, but there is a role for good-quality government education, and for that, the government has to put money into the budget for education. So that’s the first thing. The second thing is that you have to create an atmosphere where jobs are being generated - not just jobs in the service industry and the IT industry, but also jobs in manufacturing and small and medium industries - so that they can help in the development of the country and young boys and girls can get jobs here.
