Joe Mazzulla on dealing with praise: “Praise is just as dangerous as criticism. You just have to remind yourself that neither one lasts too long. And, really, at the end of the day, they're going to forget about you eventually. This is all just a short-term thing that’s going to last a few years, and then 10-15, years from now, nobody is going to talk about you. So it really doesn’t matter.”

Rachel just messaged me about a nursing student who's being held in Dilley detention center. Rachel is building as much public pressure as possible to release Olivia Andre back to her family. Understandably, Olivia is completely traumatized and struggling under the horrors of detention. But thanks to Rachel's determination, we're going to keep bringing attention to this case until Olivia is rightfully released. It’s just one example of many that demonstrates how Rachel is someone we can count on to always, always advocate for the most vulnerable among us.

It’s here. The first AI feature film to screen in theatres. The first AI feature film by a female filmmaker. Not a collection of shorts. A feature film. Not a studio. One woman with a laptop. Not a paid PR campaign. An organic social movement. I didn’t just make a film. We made history. Together. Because I never for a second thought this was about me. It’s much much bigger than me. The era of waiting for permission is over. I’m living proof. And that makes some people mad. Because there are no gatekeepers where there are no gates. BOSS (2026). Coming soon to a theatre near you.

David Cronenberg is a director I’m going to spotlight as long as I’m running this account. He’s a one-of-one director who’s constantly creating something new. A History of Violence is as good as movie-making gets. Viggo Mortensen & Ed Harris, not to mention William Hurt, are all at each other’s necks in this film, with Cronenberg conducting. It’s beautiful. See this film if you haven’t yet.

#SilambarasanTR about A Good News from #Arasan - There is some good news. I asked #Vetrimaaran sir, You said the film is going to release late, and there will be no Pongal release. I feel very sad because I cannot keep my fans waiting any longer. They have been waiting for so many days. - Before we started shooting the film, we shot a glimpse to give an idea of what Arasan is all about. So, we are planning to release #TheWorldofArasan in theatres on Diwali. - It will be exclusive content from Arasan, and I’m very excited for you all to experience it on the big screen.

RIP Sam Neill (1947-2026) Sam Neill on why "The Piano" (1993) is an important movie in Cinema history: "I don’t think I can overestimate how important 'The Piano' (1993) is for me in hindsight. It sits on my funny old CV like a medal on my chest. It wasn’t my film. It was Jane Campion's. I wasn’t the star of the film. That was Holly Hunter. But there is honour to be found in the second fiddle. Or fourth. No one notices you much, you don’t get nominated for things. But you served. I was there in an important feminist film. I was there on the front line in an important New Zealand film. Neither of these labels does the film justice. It’s a work of art. And look, that tiny little figure in the fabric— see down there on the right—that’s me. It’s a film that will always have a place in cinema history. And I served in it." ("Did I Ever Tell You This: A Memoir", Sam Neill, 2023)

🚨 NOW: Vice President Vance is pushing HARD to FLIP RED Maine's 2nd Congressional District in 2026 — which went to Democrats by just 0.6 points in 2024 Make it happen! "Why is it that you have a government that seems not to care about you, but sure as HELL cares about Somali fraudsters who are making millions and millions of dollars off of your tax payer money?" "You have to ask yourself, why is it that you have a government that seems more focused on the illegal aliens growing weed illegally than it is on the taxpayers of this state?!" "And the answer is because you have a governor who hasn't fought for you. Let's send a governor who did fight for you to the U.S. Congress. Let's send Paul LePage to the U.S. House." 🔥

Philip Seymour Hoffman is only in Almost Famous for a handful of minutes, but he still delivered a scene that always- always- makes me emotional. I’m not sure if it’s because this film pulls me back to my childhood or if it’s because PSH is no longer with us. Probably a combination. This is just such a beautiful moment. Cameron Crowe thank you for this film & all that you do.

This was 2 hours ago on Figueroa in LA on 9/19/26. This is the blade. It’s active 24 hours a day. It’s even more active since the passage of Senator Scott Wiener’s SB357 the “Safer Street For All Act”. He said it was necessary to ban arrests for “loitering with the intent of prostitution” because it unlawfully allowed law enforcement to target black transwomen. 🤦🏻‍♀️ All is see are minor females everytime I’m in the area.

This is not a drill! This is happening! After much musing over the years about there being potential for an anime adaptation of ‘Scott Pilgrim’, I’m thrilled to say one is IMMINENT, with the whole cast back together and… you are going to lose your minds.

🚨 2026 Isn’t a Bull Market, It’s a Confidence Collapse 🚨 Listen up. If you’re still trying to figure out what’s actually going on, this is for you. Asian Guy is explaining why central banks are hoarding gold, why paper systems are cracking, and why 2026 matters more than most people realize. This is the kind of breakdown you send to: - People who are confused - People who are skeptical - People who know something feels off but can’t put it into words yet This isn’t about fear. It’s about understanding the shift before the crowd feels it. If you’re already awake, share this with someone who’s still on the fence. Because once confidence breaks, explanations come after the move, not before. Know What You Hold! #KWYH #SilverSqueeze #GodsMoney

People who have never played a single game of Deadlock once again fail to realize that Deadlock is what it is BECAUSE it’s a MOBA. I hate that “League bad” syndrome has spilled over into every other MOBA. The real biggest barrier for these people isn’t even Deadlock being a MOBA, it’s access. You can’t just go to the Steam page and press download. The average person is not going to go out of their way to join a Discord or ask someone for an invite just to try a game they’re unsure about. It’s really easy to point fingers, talk shit about something, and call it bad when you personally can’t easily experience it. That’s a phenomenon that happens all the time, even outside of games. I guarantee you that a huge amount of the people saying, “Deadlock is a MOBA, so I’m never playing it,” will be there day one when the game is easily accessible to everyone. They’ll download it instantly. They can say “I’m never playing Deadlock” as many times as they want right now, but once there’s no invite barrier and they can just press download, they’re going to try it. There is no chance all these people spending their time talking about Deadlock are suddenly going to ignore it when it’s sitting right there on Steam, one click away.

This is so funny. Usually I wouldn’t care about putting this out there but i find it so funny how all off of a sudden Maddie is sitting there quiet while Craig is talking about how Jay z “betrayed you blacks” by going back to target. She was quite vocal about Nicki and HER political views when she had no choice but to go to trump for help cause OUR OWN PPL wouldn’t help. Now she has nothing to say? This is what I mean by you pick me’s! Nicki was never the problem, yall just wanted a reason to h8te her. I’m gonna keep laughing at how yall thought jay z was for you ppl! 🤭 Nicki never lied!

A gold analyst just made the best case for bitcoin I've heard all year. By accident. His whole thesis: "the beauty of gold is it's not used for anything." Send gold to $1,000,000 and nobody gets hurt. Send corn to $1,000 a bushel and people starve. Send oil there and the economy collapses. A reserve asset has to be useless, because money that doubles as something people need to consume punishes everyone the moment it goes up. He's right. He just stopped one step short. Gold still has day jobs. Jewelry, electronics, dentistry. Bitcoin is used for even less. It was built to be money and nothing else. No industrial demand fighting its monetary demand, nothing to melt down, no factory waiting on the supply. Gold is useless enough to be great money. Bitcoin is useless at everything except being money. Same principle, taken to its logical end. The purest reserve asset isn't the one with the fewest uses. It's the one with none.

Bangladeshi Muslims are being brought in and given Hindu names to illegally enter the voter list in West Bengal. This is not just a violation of law, it's a betrayal of Bengal and its people. Under Mamata Banerjee’s rule, there is a systematic conspiracy to turn illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators into voters, just because this government no longer trusts the Hindus of Bengal to support them. This is not governance. This is vote-bank politics at its worst. This Hindu-Birodhi Sarkar, which plays with Bengal’s identity and compromises its future, must be removed in 2026.

Crémieux calls Trump and RFK Jr.'s overhaul of the American childhood vaccine schedule pure crankery with no science behind it: "There is nothing empirical about this. It's driven by a bunch of debunked claims." "They want to reduce the number of injections, but they want to split the MMR vaccine into three separate vaccines: one for measles, one for mumps, and one for rubella. This is arbitrary. They didn't supply any justification for it. They won't. They can't. It's just pure conspiracism." "It's impossible to maintain the claim that the hep vaccine leads to autism because when we introduce it, a large portion of people suddenly get it. And then there is no concomitant increase in the autism rate. Science just isn't penetrating this advice." "We are undergoing a measles epidemic that is going to get much worse because of what happened today. They are radical conspiracists with no data, and they are going to hurt a lot of kids." Crémieux
