But this is a network🤦🏻‍♀️ A network is defined as the connection of at least two computer systems, either by a cable or a wireless connection.

The screen says wifi on? Thats a network... does it work with wifi off? Or am i missing something?

I programmed the screen. It doesn't connect to a network, it directly connects peer to peer. (You don't connect to a router, or type in SSID, just directly to other device)

Onboarding on Acurast means using what you already have. No servers. No special devices. Just your phone and a network built for people, not data centers.

My friend was hiking uphill in New Zealand with no network coverage and still was able to send his mom a text using SpaceX satellite connectivity. Imagine how many lives this can save. Starlink is saving lives. ❤️

Speech-to-speech no longer needs speech-to-text! Until now, our stack was VAD -> STT -> LLM -> TTS. Now it can send audio directly to multimodal LLMs: VAD → MLLM → TTS No STT. The model understands your voice. Now go build better voice agents!

we just added visual editing for clients with Next.js websites. edit text directly on the page through Sanity’s visual editor. no code, no developers needed for copy changes. clients can now update their own sites in real time.

We're excited to announce that we're expanding ChatterPay into the Cardano ecosystem. Now +2B people can send ADA, USDCx, USDM, USDA directly on WhatsApp. No new apps. Just send a voice or text message, and that's it. The easiest way to onboard new people into Cardano!

What if your ESP32 could send messages kilometres away without Wi-Fi or a mobile network? This uses an ESP32 with an SX1278-based LoRa module to build a simple point-to-point text communication system. The LoRa link runs at 433 MHz using Chirp Spread Spectrum. The receiver displays messages on a 16×2 LCD, while the ESP32 can also send data to ThingSpeak over Wi-Fi. In urban testing, the link remained usable up to roughly 1 km. No gateway. No cellular network. Just two small nodes talking directly. Now imagine putting these nodes on robots, sensors, or remote stations. What would you build if you had a 1 km wireless link with no infrastructure?
