The amount of people that don't understand personal space and don't get in someone's fast is crazy. It should be common sense but the amount of times I gotta back up from someone who is an inch away from my face is wild.

I feel that. Sometimes I really emphasize my distaste when someone is close by making an angry face and pushing back.

Thank youuuu! Some of these things needed to be said out loud. Tired of this social game becoming the equivalent of a Highschool including all the drama it comes with. Part of the things said in this video are also some of the reasons I don’t go to publics ^^;

I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's always a challenge in public lobbies with new peeps.

Oh I'm not a new player at all, I've been here since 2018. It's just that I'm socially anxious lol

I meant meeting new players, not you! 🙇♂️💦

Gotta let me know.

The spatial awareness thing is big. Specially with desktop users. Mad love for the desktop homies, but some of them have a tendency to get right in your face without realizing it.

I think it's hard for them to realize since they don't have a monitor attached to their face.

Yeah I understand that. Depth perception is skewed on desktop, so I don't hold it against them. And it's not all desktop users, but it's something for them to be aware of.

LOOK GARRY THERE I AM!! In all seriousness, this is a wonderful video, the likes of which honestly should be in a tutorial for this game.

I think that it would be great if there was a school or mentoring system available to new users!

If you liked this video, you'll love my channel where I talk about VR, Vtubers and VRChat stuff with a hint of Japan life. Sub plz?

I loved this video, and shoutout to whoever played Stickman. 👏😭

He was awesome! Totally into the idea of being the person who made the scenarios.

omg me

Before watching: "TRAUMA DUMPING IS NOT A PERSONALITY TRAIT!" After watching: "Oh cool, he covered it."

There were A LOT of requests for me to cover and that was a big one.

The "Just block people" one is one that I admittedly need to get better at doing. Unfortunately, when you're a Hazbin fan and frequent Hazbin worlds, you can get a lot of trolls and assholes. For some reason, they love bothering the Hazbin worlds.

It's definitely a challenge for a lot of people. I made a video about blocking that I think you might like.

Definitely a good video, and brings up lots of good points! I'm definitely a person who falls under the tries to avoid conflict category of things but I've been getting better at blocking (at least here on social media). When I get back onto VRChat public, def gonna work on it to

Nice work! Hit a lot of good points that a lot of people seem to forget very easily 😎

Thank you~!!!! ❤️

Rec Room kids need to hear this if they migrate to Vrchat

omfg the Friend request spam i hate of so much and the lack of status reading. You should also cover the "always on orange" complaining people do when the status itself is called "ask me" but people treat it as it means "go away"

This a difficult dance. I'll be honest, some friends I have on VRChat DO NOT mix well with other groups. Sometimes I like to be picky on who I want to hangout with and sometimes I just want to be invited and see who wants to hang out. To me, orange is just wanting boundaries.

Thats ah whole other issue. what i mean is people wont even bother to request on you if your on orange yet complain you are never available when its litterly just an ask away lol. The mixing friends group is hit or miss i hear that from people who have friends who like to throw slurs or make crass jokes or like to intentionally act like the ahole. Drink too much ect personally i feel on that is...pick better friends who can act like decent humans with any mingle.

This feels like a really great topic to review! Maybe I need to work on a video about statuses on VRChat and what they secretly mean?

might be hard one because people may have differing view however just context clue honestly. if im orange and my status is simply "just chillin/viben" id hope my friends understand its obviously ok to request compared to when im orange i have "busy" as my status. though i suppose that leans into the not reading status peeve lol

THANK YOU!! Lord how mercy finally someone said it! Thank you for makin this video! You earned a follow. Much respect to you

Thank you~! Glad you enjoyed the video ^^

I recommend using the audio earmuff settings to adjust the sound fall off players. If you are in an instance with more than 5 people it is needed. The tool exists for a reason.

I religiously use this feature.

This was great! ❤️

Pet peeve. Those sensitive weirdos that get offended or angry and blame “phantom sense”

You hit a lot of valid points and unwritten rules of vrchat, the only thing you missed which falls into peer pressure is trying to force people to do things like pressuring mutes to unmute, i see it all too often with new players who then get mad because someone isnt physically speaking.

lmao stfu 🤣

Im glad someone said it. Fucking give space to people! Even if its VRChat no one wants a nose boop from a stranger. Its weird 😕 dont touch

that DJ track was kind of a banger though lol

Hahahahha! It took me a while to find unless I looked up "Piccolo aura farming."

hey! I use MagicChatbox to warn people that I am deaf. Is this fine? Apparently they don't know how to read my username, status, pronouns (which include [DEAF] in all caps), bio, and my avatar having a literal deaf icon on it.

@katisdeaf I think that's fine! 😃 You actually have a legitimate reason for your very rare situation. That and I doubt your chat bubble is as huge as the one I provided 😂

yea no it just has "Tiny Deaf Individual" and my time on it

I always side eye those who have a chatbox with so much irrelevant info above their head😅

Saaaaaame

I gonna phantom touch everyone and say that their DID is just a cry for attention

Was nice seeing you on the Birthday Keep going at it

Thank you~! ❤️

Good video! Wish good etiquette was more common.

Thank you for the compliment! 🙏 And yes. It's difficult to teach this when most people sorta assume they can just treat this like a call of duty lobby. VRChat is way more than that.

Oh yeah that chatbox stuff is annoying

Great video 🤍🐮💚

Thank you!!!!

Awesome video, thank you so much! 👏👏A lot of it can be resumed to "respect others as real human beings" but it's great to go into details! 😊

when people become problems I block them. when the people I just blocked make their friends come up to me and be like "why did you block my friend" I block them as well because they're just looking for drama. I hope this gets more retweets because people need to see it.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and yes, I can't stand when people try to pull that drama out.

Nice video

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! ^^

VRC is a zoo and we love it x)

Can we put a small pin in the interrupting bit? More of an asterix. Talking over and interrupting are going to happen. There is a 3-5 second delay on everything in VRChat. The farther the person is from you RL is going to make it worse. Heck, my bf and I are in the same room-->

Nah that's so real. The delay is so hard to predict sometimes cause you're so into the moment.

Personally I think if you wouldnt do it irl why do it in vr I know its a game but you can still annoy people
