My parents arent that tech-unsavvy. But I have to ask them repeatedly: "When was the last time you fact-checked the news on your own accord with PRIMARY sources?" They usually say "never" to which i respond: "Then why do you think they wouldn't lie to you?"

A scammer called me as if he was the IRS, and threatened me with arrest if I didn't pay today. I pissed him off by asking stupid questions. He hung up on me. I didn't get arrested.
