⭐️: When I first got this modeling offer, it was during our 'Ice On My Teeth' promotions. Director Bekker said, "We're thinking of creating a menswear line in March, and we have a really good idea. We'd love to have Seonghwa walk the runway, what do you think?" She asked for my opinion so kindly. I replied, "It's been a long-time dream of mine," they were so happy to hear that and said, "Alright, then I'll speak with your company.". That's how it all started. So I started working out diligently and kept preparing. But then the tour schedule overlapped, and I didn't have much time to take walking lessons. So as soon as I got back to Korea, thankfully, I had the opportunity to take lessons from an amazing model. That time was really fun. I also practiced on my own, kept working out hard. (But still) That whole preparation period was really tough. That runway moment was really short, just about two minutes of walking, but it felt like my heart was about to explode... It honestly felt like I was walking through a dream. To be honest, I don't think I had any thoughts in that moment. Everything just went blank. Honestly, I'm not even sure... What was breally feeling at that moment? But one thing I'm sure of, my heart was beating a lot. So many people helped me along the way. I'm truly grateful to our ATINY as well for giving me the chance to chase my dreams and to dream even bigger. I’m really grateful. I feel relieved. Really, deeply relieved. If I had gone into this thinking, "It's just walking, no big deal," I don't think it would've meant this much to me. Because I saw this as my long-held dream of mine, and because I felt such deep gratitude toward ATINY, I carried a strong sense of responsibility. And I genuinely love the brand Isabel Marant, so that made me work even harder. Maybe that's why...I really don't have any regrets. I just feel proud. People around me would say things like that. I often got asked, “Why are you walking?” Even my husband was confused at first, especially since it meant he would have to be my cameraman every time we went out. To be honest, I’m not even sure why I did it. Maybe I was partly inspired by Carrie Bradshaw wandering around New York City. But I kept walking and filming those silly videos. Over time, my husband became more professional behind the camera, and I think he secretly enjoys it now. I’ve realised that you should do what makes you happy, even if people don’t understand it. Just keep walking, keep moving forward. The journey might be full of surprises. Who would have thought that one day Lisa would ask to be in one of my walking videos? It feels like a dream. P.S. ⛰️ I just… I just like working hard. Whatever it is. You only get one life, right? So I just want to work hard without any regrets. Because I don’t think I’d be happy if I were loved without working hard. Then this time, after consistently working hard for 8 years, I received love, and only then, when I felt it myself, I realized, “Woah, I’m really being loved right now.” So I’m grateful that it turned out that way. If I hadn’t worked hard and had just gotten by on talent, and if I had just gotten lucky, I don’t think I would’ve been that happy. So I’m just going to keep doing what I’ve been doing and keep working hard consistently. You all recognize it/notice it (my efforts), actually - so that’s what I’m grateful for. According to BMI, I am obese. I am a MF beast. That’s what I am. My mind is healthy, my body is healthy and I’m happy out there lifting. But you will never understand. Because your mind ain’t healthy, nor your body. And it is not like you are happy either.
