This album is the last almost three years of my life in a 12 song package. I wrote about basically every girl I talked to and every interesting person I met while trying to figure out what I wanted to do with myself. I really fell out of love with music and with the industry and kind of completely rewired my brain. I’ve been making music a really long time and this is the first time its felt honest enough that im scared to release it. This was me figuring out who I wanted to be and fucking around a lot in the process. 12 songs, June 12th. For my young lovers. Pre-save🔗

We both have a favorite song, and that song is ‘DIORAMA’. I would choose ‘DIORAMA’ to introduce someone to who Yves is because it shows a lot of range. The song starts in a lower register and goes all the way up to a very high note, and it also has a lot of heavy beats that are fun to move along to. 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐄𝐅𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐃: My original idea for “Wall of death” was for it to be a song that everyone could jump to. obviously that took a turn especially when Marauda got on the track and it became the moshpit tune. A lot of the music i make is motivated by what i need in my sets, and i still really wanted that jumping track. I got inspired by old hip hop crowd reactions and that’s how i ended up making forcefield. I jumped around to a bunch of different tempos in my living room to see what would be easiest for people to follow, that’s how i ended up making a song at 122 bpm haha. Anyways, Forcefield has hands down one of the best reactions in my sets time and time again, i hope y’all enjoy it as much as i do playing it 😎
