Alright hyena fans, buckle up, because we have some wild videos to share. Last week, Serena South spent a lot of time in the Mara River feeding on a hippo. Yes, this is a hyena with her head fully inside a hippo butthole. Seems to be the best way to circumvent tough hippo hide.

Even hyenas need a few sittings to disappear a hippo. One morning, grad student @janawoerner caught some of South clan taking issue with the idea of sharing. It started first thing in the morning when it was still difficult to see.

This mobbing is partly responsible for hyenas' success. They're able to take on animals many times their own size with the power of numbers and cooperation. I mean, this croc was HUGE.

This was at La Jolla Cove in La Jolla California. These people are swimming at the Cove but there is a good amount of Sea lions there. 😳 You can see one of the Sea lions almost run over a kid as it is trying to get back in the water and you can hear a voice over the loudspeaker telling people to please keep their distance from all the Sea lions. People argued about this saying that little beach was always meant for kids to swim at and has been that way for 40 years. But many others said that it has obviously changed and now we have Sea lions there and they should leave those Sea lions in peace and go find another beach. To me, the ocean, that is their home. There are plenty of other beaches to use. The people should be the ones to move, not the Sea lions. 💯 What is your opinion? Should they just keep it the way it is, let people around the Sea lions or should they close this small beach cove to the public in order to allow the Sea lions to be in peace?
