Serial Experiments Lain opening sequence (1998) is still one of the greatest anime intros of all time btw

easily one of the most annoying songs in anime

I used to listen to this song walking to college every morning back in 2000, the first 'complex' anime I watched after akira, took me like 3 watch throughs to even start to comprehend what this was all about. Awesome show and intro

Laina's ending theme is also lit 🔥

One of my all time favorite series! I've seen this band, boa, and their singer Jasmine Rodgers live many many times.

The best opening for niggas who never watched the fucking show

This song got me through basic training and tech school when I first joined the military. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

@jazzy_j_97 What is that song!!!???😱😱😱

I have still yet anything about this show be posted about this show besides this one intro. 😭

Swear to God roughly 1995 or so on it seemed like the quality of art in animation has gone down. At least on the American side..

Aesthetically this show was great but I could only mildly figure out the plot. Maybe it would have been better as a movie.

@kurama1060

Another intro that lives rent free in my head is the intro for paranoia agent.

WAIT THATS LAIN'S OPENING!!!!!!

very true. this song is popular on tiktok now but I discovered it thru the intro of this show all those years ago

The song is still in my rotation. (Also I believe the band, Bôa, is touring right now, or were recently)

Real

I don't what is this anime about, but I was in shock when saw like a billion views in Spotify. I enjoy this opening, but I never would imagine that popularity.
