Serial programming of the 1 bit computer is working!!!!! But, only at 9600 baud... Here I have a 64k ram chip that I upload 2 different programs to! I will post schematics and software a bit later!

The chip list is: 74hc14 74hc595 74CH595 74HC04 74HC574 74HC574 6264 555 74LS151 74LS259 Only 2 gates of the 74HC04 are used and the 74HC14 has two free gates. No other hardware is needed to program it. The programming stream is normal 9600 baud 8N1 serial.

This is the schematic and assembler for it. I'm going to add the new schematic that includes the serial uploader hardware and the uploader software. (serial pre-processor)

We're right on the fringe of being one of those programs that gets left behind." "I think that every time that I step in front of a recruit..they need to understand how special I think the place is. How much I believe in it. If they feel that from me, maybe they get a little bit of that feeling, a little bit of that intensity, and they come here with the same intentions I have, which is to give the place everything they have."

I previously had some early sort of precursors to the Atari system, and then I got the Atari system, which I'm sure a lot of people here have played. But then I saw you could actually have a computer where you could make your own games, and it was a Commodore VIC-20. So that was the first computer I bought. And then I got some books on how to teach yourself programming. And this was like the coolest thing I'd ever seen. So I was just like, this is super awesome. And so I started programming games and then selling games in order to actually buy more games. So a bit of a circular thing. And more games and better computers and that kind of thing.
