Jordan was fantastic. Bird was Fantastic. Kobe wasn't close. Lebron was hybrid Bird and Jordan but still not either nor as close. Very different athleticism between Bird and Jordan! But both dominated the league is successive generations when Basketball peaked!!

Been following the NBA since 1972. Jordan is simply the best ever. A supremely talented athlete who was a tremendous overachiever, always pushing himself and his teammates to play better.

Jordan didn't shine until Bird, Magic, Kareem, Dominique, and others aged! That is just simply true to those old enough to have lived through it. There is no doubt he was phenomenal, but he struggled being the goat in the league until that generation aged.

Kobe was better. Period. His footwork was literally the best that has ever been seen. He learned post moves from Olajuwan, passing and handles from Magic, Scoring from Bird/Jordan/Jerry West. His reels are insane. He also cooked TF out of Jordan.

If MJ had a LinkedIn, his endorsements would be "Airborne, clutch, defying gravity".

Jordan doesn't come close to Lebron's flopping skills.

Great player, and never felt the urge to spew hate or push any political agenda, he just went out and played, and played with more skill and natural talent than any other player at the time. He was the greatest player and from what I can tell a good human as well.

Michael was next level for sure! I had the opportunity to see him play live against Utah Jazz in the 90’s and it was spectacular watching him play.
